Good, better, best. Never let it rest, till the good is better and the better is best.
That's how I felt about this business. As you can see the ratings I portray of this company. Service was pretty good. The steak I had could have been a little more red for their "medium", bt it had really good flavor. I enjoyed the broccoli soup, 🍲🤤.
The atmosphere was to die for. Seemed like an at home atmosphere.
The people that we met there were pleasant to talk with as well, bt they were not associated with the business.

I've been to other Black Bear Diner locations, and the one in Madras is pretty solid. Its decor did not disappoint and had a lot of cute bear statues. The chain is known for their American comfort food, and they have a good selection over here, I would definitely recommend their delicious pot roast. They also have some great options for iced tea. Our service was nice and efficient. Prices are also pretty fair too.

Thank you for having a clean, well staffed oasis for us after a long travel day. Our server was friendly and welcoming, maybe be a little more attentive. Our meals were well done, large portions and perfect diner food! Ps the flowers outside are stunning!

I would highly recommend this place for breakfast. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and so good! I had the chicken fried steak with red potatoes and a biscuit. I am from the South and I have never seen a biscuit this big!! It was delicious!

First time eating at a Black Bear Diner, I will definitely go back, the food was delicious, huge portions, and the man waiting on us was awesome and very polite. I had the hobo omelet, so flavorful.

This is the 3rd Black Bear at which I've eaten -- the other 2 were Northern CA & Portland OR. Came on reccomendation of friend who said it is a great break on way to BEND & she was right.... I had forgotten how HUGE the portions are! My guests were so impressed 🥰🌞😄

Great foood! Love the big bear claw stuffed French toast! It was very cute! Very filling! Great portion sizes and enough food left for leftovers. Service is good and whenever i drive through Madras, I make an effort to stop by Black Bear Diner to grab a bite to eat!
