Epic coffee shop in a gorgeous lakeside setting surrounded by live oaks dripping in spanish moss! The cafe is located in an old house with rooms converted into dining areas. Lots of outlets next to tables, lots of seating and even USB wall plugs. Cafe is quiet and good spot to work, fast wifi. Cute decor inside, artsy with some coffee roasting equipment on display. Outside porch seating and gorgeous back patio seating with a Koi Pond with fish, fountain, string lights and chandelier in the tree! There's a great private property you can peak into in the very back of the back patio, take a peek! Best iced mocha I've ever had, great smoky flavor. Banana bread was moist and delicious. Cranberry orange muffin top was good. Staff is friendly and quick. Amazing view of the lakeside houses from front patio. I would be here every day if I lived in Madisonville!
Running a few errands and stopped by for a Chicken Panini and Cold Press. Great food and service. Wonderful atmosphere and the view of the river makes it even more so.
Omg, so glad we found this place! We were literally driving by, on an errand, and noticed the huge, old, oaks covering the patio. It’s late June, just now, and the breeze is nice outside.
Although the AC works well we opted for the patio. Our waitress, Jessica, is fantastic, the food amazing and the beer cold.
It’s about 5 min south of I10 and worth every minute of the detour to be off the highway. Take a few minutes and enjoy the tranquility of rural Louisiana. We will make a point of stopping each time we come this way.
Love this place. The staff is very friendly, the back patio is seren, and the coffee is yum. Perfect lunch break escape on a busy day.
You can't stop in Madisonville without visiting this gem. The environment is one of the best authentic home town dines in Louisiana. A truly southern experience.
Our first trip there. Food was delicious; service was terrific; and scenery was beautiful!
we were staying at the state park and went there for breakfast, the portions and food were great. the service was wonderful and everyone was very nice.
we went back four more times during our week there for just coffee and scones, and diner 1 evening. we also tried the one in Covington. love it :)
First time we went to Abita Roasting Co. in Madisonville!! It was AMAZING!!! The service was great, our server Greta was amazing and the food was fabulous!! Bottomless Mimosas??? I was all in!! Lol Will definitely go again with the family! My kids absolutely loved it as well!!
We were returning from the Strawberry Fest in Pontchatoula, LA and needed, well really just wanted some really great coffee since we hadn't had any before we left home this morning, just some gas station cappuccino on the way.
We wound up grabbing some beignet bites and sweet potato halo's as well and really enjoyed them sitting in the shade under the oaks around the fountain with a cool gentle breeze making everything just so peaceful. We would recommend and wish these good flavors and peacefulness for everyone.
