Breakfast is excellent, definitely enjoyed the hot beef at lunch. The deserts are homemade and so delicious. 50s vibe type diner. We have ate there several times without disappointment. Prices are fair for a smaller community, Next up to try is the old school pizza burger.

First, let's start with the staff because it's really the only thing good about our experience.
Very friendly work very hard here and the coffee wasn't bad.
They advertise "thick cut bacon" but it's nowhere near it!
Asked for crispy bacon and got soft bacon.
Scrambled eggs had shells in it and the hash browns were very undercooked.
Sent the hash browns back came back basically unchanged.
Very rubbery and no taste!
Sadly, we won't be returning.

Great little breakfast spot for the big town of Madison. This place is perfect if you are looking for a hearty and affordable breakfast for the cold weather! I had the build your own omelet with sausage, bacon, cheese, onions, and peppers with a side pancake. I ate it all quickly.

Cool place, the salad was great and so was the Ice Cream sundae, staff was nice and friendly

Normally just fine, came here for the good sweet potato fries, but just came today for breakfast and the eggs were somehow cooked in a weird way that made us feel ill, the hash browns were undercooked and tasted like hospital food, the toast was basically charred, and the sausage was almost impossible to cut through. The waitress was nice enough but whoever was cooking today really flopped and I’m not sure I’m coming back, even for the fries.

Delicious food I had the 2nd Street burger! Clean and plenty of seating options. Love the vintage Diner decor! Friendly staff. 🥰

The food was okay. Price does not match quality. The waitress had an air about her that made you feel bad to eat there and force her to work. When we left I wanted to apologize. The atmosphere has a lot of potential, but I don't think anyone cares enough to meet it. I'll maybe return for a milkshake someday to try it, but there are better places to eat close by.
