Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill

Ordered curbside for 1:15. There were no curbside parking spots available so I went in at 1:23 or so when we arrived . They said the order was not ready and had not started on it. We had an appointment so I told them I could not wait and to please cancel the order. The lady agreed. Later that day there was no cancellation on my app, and order showed complete. I called and was told that the shift leader had just arrived and we tried to figure out how to cancel it. 6 days later there is no refund on my account so I had to dispute it with my credit card company.

Location: Located off Hwy 72 near Planet Fitness Quick review: For fast casual type Mexican food the place is tasty very clean on the inside and the staff is friendly. Overall: I think if you want authentic food it's going to be very hard for you to find it anywhere in Huntsville. But this place does a better job than most Mexican food places around here. I know that one of the reviewer said you should go to Moe's but at least i know the Moe's in Madison seems very dirty. (See my review and photos of them) This place was pretty clean on the inside and had a great seating area with a lot of Windows to the outside which was nice for a view. The only thing that I wish is that they actually had a self-service salsa bar like some of the other places do but other than that everything seems to be pretty good. Should you go: if you have down here I would least give it one try. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and helping me choose some good menu items since this was the first time I've been here.

I absolutely love Salsarita's, but I am definitely disappointed from my past 2 experiences. There were not enough staff to accommodate the amount of people coming in during lunch time on both occasions. I placed my order online and gave a sufficient amount of time to have the order fulfilled. I waited an additional 20 minutes to get my to go order. Then, when we got back to work, we were getting ready to eat only to find that there were about 20 chips in each bag. If we combined both of our bags of chips we would have been lucky to have had a full order.

The food is great but the chubby, older, white lady was extremely rude to me and my husband. I had my mask on so did my whole family. She actually reprimanded me in front of everyone saying it wasn't high enough even though it covered my mouth and nose. I was shocked. Then my husband went to grab his guacamole to put on the tray and she yelled at him not to touch it. We have never experienced such poor service. I wanted to ask for our money back and leave the food. The whole experience was not just embarrassing but pretty humiliating!! The 3 young kids working there were very sweet though.
