Cracker Barrel

Was a rough night there had a few mishaps but that is out of the ordinary and ill attribute it to them being short handed. u can tell they were training new cooks and servers. However, the bright light of the night was a waiter named Brianna who stepped in after realizing our assigned waiter never even showed up to take a drink order or anything. She is the reason this was a 3 star post. We will be returning because it is a good place to eat in normal circumstances.

I sat at my table for at least 10 minutes without a server approaching me. The young lady who seated me came to check on two ladies at the table near me. I got her attention and explained that I only had a short time to eat and asked if she could locate my server. She came back and apologized that my server was not available and offered to take my order. I told her what I wanted and she brought my drink and utensils. Within a short time, she delivered my meal. She brought me a container for my leftovers and a coffee to go. After all that, I spoke to the manager on duty and praised Miss Halle for being a superstar. When I paid for my meal, I tipped her. Looking atypical receipt, it appears as if my nonexistent server may be the one to get the tip I left for Halle. Please say I'm mistaken. The chicken pot pie was delicious, by the way.

I was unhappy with my dinner. The fries tasted funny. My haddock was cooked in some kinda sauce. Haddock is better deep fried. What I had wasn't good. I was disappointed in my dinner. And Albert wasnt to happy with his dinner either. We were both disappointed in our dinners. The service was great. Our waitress was good and professional.

This has always been a childhood favorite for me so now as a mother I take my boys. The staff are so friendly and polite. And Lysa has been our waitress the last few times and she is simply amazing and seems to have a heart of gold. Thank you for your business! I would highly recommend! Family friendly and great food!
