The salsa was good, but the chips left a little to be desired. The food was tasty. The vegan crumbles were not seasoned at all. The waitress was super nice! The margaritas were strong! I’d give them a second chance.

Absolute worst service I think I have ever received in my life, and it was the first time in 15 years I tipped below 20%. My girlfriends food came out completely uncooked and cold -- the cheese was literally unmelted and stuck together in chucks of shredded, mushy cheese, as if they had just taken a pack of shredded cheese out of the fridge and poured it right over her plate and stuffed the gross mess inside the cold enchilada. A five year old could have prepared that. I have worked in this industry when I was younger, and I can't believe how that plate was that even allowed to leave the kitchen? Then, when we said we did not want them to make another plate and to just take the half-prepared meal off of the check (since I was sharing my food with her instead), they proceeded to deliver us what she had asked for, actually cooked, as we were getting the check, and on top of that, they were very dismissive and annoyed that we wouldn't eat uncooked food. And to top it off, it was Valentines Day. Absolutely terrible service. The only reason I can fathom to give it one star is because the atmosphere was cool and my food - chicken and rice - was warm. Maybe just come here for drinks and cheese dip ...

Had my birthday here. The food was excellent and the staff made the event a lot of fun. They had a very warm and inviting atmosphere and the decor around the place was very cool. They did a song and dance for my birthday (not at my request lol) and gave a free dessert.

Best Carinatas plate in the business! Its what I eat when I dine Mexican cuisine and Buena Vista's is the best. The meat is well marinated and cooked and fried to perfection. Packed with flavor and the juiciest pork around. Service is fantastic and the pricing affordable!

This is now my favorite local Mexican restaurant! I ordered a chicken quesadilla (came with beans, onions, cheese, chicken, and fajitas inside and sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce served on the side). It was very well seasoned, but not greasy- although I would definitely consider it to be comfort food.
My husband ordered one of the combos, but was disappointed that they wouldn't allow substitutions as he's not a big fan of beef. However, he said that the beef was still good and enjoyable.
The tortillas and salsa were very good and enjoyable also. My husband and I ordered cheese dip and it was the best I've ever had in a restaurant!
The prices are comparable with similar and local restaurants.

We love this restaurant and we eat there quite often. The only negative that I or my family find is the salsa is extremely hot. However the atmosphere the location and the staff make it worthwhile.

Went here today for my nephews 18th birthday. Everything was terrible! The food was cold, there were so many flies that one flew in my other nephews food. It was definitely not worth the 78 dollars we spent. This didn’t even include the other people’s money spent in the party we had so they racked in at least $250 dollars tonight for very terrible and poor service. It took forever for some of us to even get water. We explicitly went in early to avoid a rush because we knew we had a large party so that wasn’t the problem either. The place was completely empty at the time.

My husband and I just left and I must say it's this is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The salsa is the best I've ever had and the cheese dip was sooooo good. I got the shrimp and rice and the shrimp was very good! The live music tonight was fun to listen to. We definitely will be back!!

Queso is super thin. The rice looked like Chinese fried rice with peas in it. My food was good, but everything on the menu is over- priced. Las Trojas is way better.

Cinco de Mayo here was awful. They seemed very unprepared for the crowd. After 2 hours we only had drinks. Our server was apparently spread to thin, didn't know what we ordered, and was unwilling to do anything for our party of three. I ordered three tacos and cheese dip but was only given one taco. I tried to just cancel the rest because it was taking so long but was told I had to take it because he already charged me for it. Twenty minutes later I went looking for the manager to cancel it. I still ended up with a wrong check. I probably won't be back.

The management acted in a very unprofessional manner today and was insulting to customers. Wait staff was more interested in playing on their phones than taking care of customers. I normally like this place but after today I am finished. Manager did not care about customers needs.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food and responsive service. I love the understated decor throughout. With the blinds open on the patio displaying the palm trees, the awesome live music playing and the cold drinks flowing; I felt like I was dining at the beach. Awesome! I can't wait to come back for their Songwriter's Open Mic Nights every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 6 until 9. Perfect place for that too!

Food was great and service was excellent. One suggestion I would make would be to wipe down the lamps hanging over the tables. There was lots of dust just hanging. I was scared it would fall in my food and the side of the table that I ate on could have had a good scraping big to get the caked in dirt or food. One other thing too was my plate was so old it was chipped in a couple of places and I was really praying that the dried bean on the side was from my beans and not someone else's. But thumbs up anyway

Love the food and the drinks. I had the Paloma, a tequila drink and my fiancée had the Mexican mermaid. Just the drinks alone were good but the food was even better. I had the Mex-Tex Fajita, not badly priced and was great. And my woman had the Mexican lasagna it’s awesome.

Had a very bad experience with our group last night. They gave our prepaid room to somone else and didn't seem to care. It took them almost an hour to set up tables for us and sat 22 people at a table for 18 with one waiter. It took another hour to get food and mine was cold. Anyone can make a mistake, but not trying to make you diners happy is unforgivable. I sent them a private message since they say they treat their customers like family. That didn't reply.
