We ordered the shrimp pad Thai, pork and shrimp spring roll, and the Grilled Lemongrass Sliced Beef and Eggroll Vermicelli Bowl. The portions were good and the meats in each dish were good. They didn’t skimp. I have seen in the past if I ordered anything with shrimp or beef, I get very little meats; that’s not a problem here. The food was good. The sauce for the Grilled Lemongrass Slice Beef and Eggroll Vermicelli bowl was a little bland but still good. The Shrimp Pad Thai was very good. Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes and this was delicious! The spring rolls were good and I would order them again for the price.

Great family restaurant with friendly staff and owner. I got the drunken noodle dish. It was very delicious and large portion. The Thai ice tea was very good too. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back.

Takeout of two large pho with steak (the meat was buried beneath the noodles).
Pros:
* Big portion size
* Chewy noodles that weren't falling apart
* Super flavorful broth
Cons:
* Every container was oily
* A little stingy on the beef (though the broth's flavor makes up for it)
* Expensive - $15 per bowl

The chicken pho is absolutely wonderful. The broth was so flavorful and the regular size was huge. I wish I lived in Madison so I could come here weekly!!! Egg rolls were also great. Highly recommend!!!!

Great service. Large portion for the regular. I would only order the large if starving. Sweet and tangy broth. I'm vegetarian and often those dishes are overlooked but the Pho is satisfying and flavorful. Will go back.

Sunny is delicious. Their broth is fantastic, spring rolls are always fresh, and banh mi has the perfect balance of flavors. I eat at Sunny at least a couple of times each month - it’s wonderful every time I go.

So good. Excellent food. We got the shrimp Spring rolls sunny pho and lemongrass vermicelli with chicken. very very good. And the small pho is a generous portion. 😋 yum.

Came here after in searching for pho joints in the area. Ordered the pho special along with my gf. Pho is pretty good but lacks that signature Vietnamese traditional taste which consists of herbal spices like star anise, fennel etc. it is because owner is Cambodian. It’s still good since they have their own version of pho called Katew.
