Great for vegan and gluten free selections. They had FRESH tamales. There was also a hot food bar with a food theme for each day of the week! I think I'd Like to pop in on a Wed which I think is the day for Indian food! A little higher priced than average but it's local and fresh so that was to be expected.

They have nice variety of grocery items to offer and some items that you can't find anywhere else in the City. That sets them apart and they are a customer member owned type of business that anyone can shop at. They have some non organic items and a nice organic section.

So the north side store would only build here if the family dollar stopped taking foodstamps. This store is evil. Now they are forcing people in my low income Northside neighborhood. This can be proven. Call this family dollar on the Northside and ask about Ebt, they will tell you. Then call any other one and see if they accept ebt. All do, except the one willy st co op is next too

This is my favorite store in Madison, I always went to the east side location until I discovered north. It's big with a greater selection so I go there whenever I'm in the area.

It's a little expensive, but I am always able to find lots of vegetarian food that also accommodates my food allergies. They have a really good deli and a fun selection of local beers.
