Had the opportunity to talk with Bill (the owner). Not sure you will find someone as knowledgeable about beer as this guy. Specifically, he loves his European beers. This is not your average beer bar. Small place that makes me want to hang out with two or three friends.

Overall very nice place, have not been able to enjoy anything yet but stopped in for a mask to look around and they were very friendly.

Great neighborhood beer bar. An excellent selection and a cozy atmosphere make this a spot all can enjoy. They do great take out beer kits and often do delicious tasting events for spirits too.

This place has a pretty low-key, casual atmosphere. Their scotch selection is about the largest I've seen in Madison, even if they don't have my preferred label.

Cool original wood bar from the turn of the last century inside. Best selection of premium N/A beers of any bar I have been in recently (to be honest, that's pretty few since the pandemic). Outside patio where you can breath in exhaust fumes and listen to the roar of traffic on East Wash. Friendly staff, some of whom have been my bartender in Madison for 20+ years. Congenial crowd.

Honestly one of my favorite places to grab a great beer in Madison. Very laid back, low lit - comfortable. Well run establishment with a killer beer lineup. Must visit when in Madison for any craft beer fan.
