The prices are similar to many shops.
Not high, not lower.
The space is amazing.
One of my favorite.
Good ambiance.
Not eclectic, more clean and airy.
Yet many different things going on.
Great staff and young clientele.
Probably the nicest staff at any café in Madison! I've yet to have a drink here that was anything less than delicious. SCC is a great choice if you're looking for a fairly relaxed spot to meet a friend or get work done. The music comes from Radio Milwaukee, which is a nice homage to the brand's roots on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Back when True Coffee Roasters had a cafe I was the manager. I learned a lot about coffee as well as making sure the staff were taken care of so they could take care of our customers. When the cafe closed at the end of August, I needed a new place to get coffee. I've been to Stone Creek twice - once by recommendation from a friend, and the second time as my recommendation to another friend. The staff is absolutely the friendliest! They greet you like an old friend, make sure you feel welcomed and taken care of, and care about the space where they work. It's a very clean space with a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a good cup of coffee and some company or just some quiet reflection and a work space. I look forward to spending a lot more time there for work and for personal visits! (Oh, and to buy more mugs, because they're amazing.)
Friendly staff and a really bright, clean, and modern interior. I really like the design of this place, from the colors to the logos to the cups. The mug of medium roast I got was good enough for me, but I'm no coffee expert. I was more interested in the ambiance, and it definitely feels like a good place to get some work done if you're a "coffee shop work" type of person.

This is where I usually buy my beans for the week. They have several varieties. I haven’t had over or under roasted beans like other places. Stone Creek seems to be very consistent. They make an amazing cup of joe. I have tried almost everything on the board and everything is very well done. Due to popular demand they’ve brought back soy milk.
My favorite coffee place in Madison. It’s space is bright, clean, and spacious. The drink is tasty. And the food selection is great. I often go there studying. Very nice coffee place!
