As close to New Haven quality pizza that you will get around here! My dad use to own this restaurant and he made the best pizza…..I have to say the quality is just the same as when he owned it and they use all the best ingredients! I love Amatos and will be only getting my pizza from them from now on. The sausage topping specifically is my favorite, I haven’t asked but I can tell they use longhini which is the best ! :)

GREAT food. Have never had a bad experience here. I might be biased because I know the owner but I’d travel the 45 minutes it takes me to go here vs 15 minutes to new haven, any day. The service alone is worth it. Amato & Jordan are some of the friendliest people you could meet in the food industry. Their food being so good is a bonus! id say prices are fair for the quality/fresh ingredients and great tasting final product that you’ll receive. Amato’s never disappoints.

Best pizza I have had outside of new haven for sure. We drive over from Centerbrook just to get it because it’s so good. Sauce is amazing, crust is nice and thin. Beautiful pie, have recommended to many people already!

Decent medium to thin crust, good toppings and good sauce. In many places this would be the best pizza in the state, but we are very picky about pizza around here! The best pizza is made in New Haven and we have lots of decent pizza places near here.
The owner and staff have always been helpful, the pizza is on time, the place is clean and the prices are about the same as other pizza places in the area. This is a good place to try.

I'm from Virginia and with this being my first Connecticut pizza, I was impressed. I love the thin crust and the flavor of the sauce was so good! I liked that you picked up your to go food at the window and didn't have to go inside.

The pizza is incredible! Its thin type pizza which I enjoy. The sauce is so delicious, the cheese is of higher quality than the average. Fresh dough, and a good crunch to the crust. The prices are very good as well. Cheaper than the other local pizza places which is smart if they want to keep up with B-wall and Grand. Definitely going here again!

The pizza here is so delicious! Tried the clams casino pizza and was very impressed. Amato’s pizza is the best around and I would highly recommend giving it a try, if you haven’t already!

Second time getting take out and this place is a keeper! Pizza is delicious with a nice crispy crust. Not too thick, not too thin. Sauce has great flavor. Italian chopped salad was awesome. Everything we have tried was very fresh. Place is clean and staff is very friendly.
