The service was excellent and the waitress was very attentive. The meat isn’t smoked… at least there is no visible sign of a smoke ring or a Smokey taste. I think they might start it on a smoker for an hour or so- but then transfer to an oven to get to temp. I get better smoke flavor from my little Z Grill pellet smoker. Overall- the food is just “okay”, and I guess that’s okay because the price isn’t gonna break the bank either.

Great small town BBQ! Stopped here driving from Jefferson City to Des Moines and I’m so glad I did. Side salad was simple but good. My tortellini salad wasn’t too bad (little strong on black olives) but the meat was fantastic! Ribs were tender and juicy. Briskets had great flavor and was tender and juicy. Finally the shredded pork was really flavorful. Almost didn’t need any sauce, but I did enjoy the Carolina and Bourbon sauces the most. Only criticism I’d have is their spicy sauce had no spice.

It was lucky to visit this place by chance while I was traveling (and is unfortunate b/c it takes three hours to get there from Lawrence). The best barbecue restaurant among those I have tried in Kansas/Missouri in terms of the balance between taste and price.

Food and drinks were great, atmosphere, music, great food, amazing service from our waitress Holly!! This was mine and my son’s first time here and we will definitely be back 🌈

Best pulled pork sandwich I ever had and our waitress was an extremely sweet gal.
All 4 of us at my table ate EVERYTHING on our plates which is very very rare. I'll definitely have to visit again soon.

Big fan of BBQ, and Raspberry's BBQ is excellent. We tried brisket, ribs and pulled pork. All meats were perfectly done, moist and well-seasoned. Staff were fast and attentive, the place was clean and inviting. Needless to say, plenty of people wanted to eat there and we had to wait for a little bit. When locals come to eat in, it is a good sign. I will mark this place to stop again! Highly recommend to BBQ fans.

This hidden Gem... the parking lot is big which was nice when parking our travel trailer. The building was nice and clean. The service was amazing and fast. But the food, was amazing. Our kids loved their food and we took our leftovers home. We will definitely stop here on our way to jellystone on our annual trip.

Absolutely the best BBQ. I started searching for a meal place on our way home, we like going local rather than fast food. I got the pulled pork and my husband got the catfish. The best food we've had in a long time. Will absolutely be back next time we are close! Great service, friendly staff!! Thanka for a great meal.
