One star is only for our server, she was great! Other than that, I wouldn't leave any! First time eating here and was extremely disappointed. Roast was under cooked (leathery & tough) and the sweet tea was terrible. About 15 mins after eating here both my husband and myself are sick. Food Score posted was 87. Please tell your staff to make sure the food is properly cooked before you seriously hurt someone!

Went to S&S on Riverside...Macon. Asked for flounder fish. It had to be cooked. I looked inside the piece of fish was so very small. I let the staff know how disappointed I was with the very small piece of fish. They said it came small. Look ..I go there at least twice per week. The to go orders are not what it use to be. Sorry they are here.

A great southern feeling from the moment you walk in. Everything you can imagine from broccoli raisen salad, famous sweet potato pie, meats made with southern pride and vegetables even the kids will love. Kids eat for as low as 1.79, with a drink and dessert included! There is plenty of seating and covid standards are followed. The dining room staff is just as fast and friendly with beautiful smiles, and will have ypu feeling like you've just left grandma's on a Sunday evening.

The staff in the take out department was so rude and Disrespectful all but the elderly black lady. As for the rest of them they have no manners . I asked if they had cranberry sauce she replied in a rude voice if you don't see it then we don't have it . Some of these people who work in there need to check their selves especially working in customer service with the public. I will not be coming back there and treated with such rudeness. I gave you a 1 star only because 0 wasn't an option. Please also remind your staff the color of a person's skin is no reason to be rude . If you treat others with kindness and respect then you will be treated the same

We travel to visit dear friends in Macon, Ga. and enjoy getting takeout plates from here it is a favorite of mine Quaint Great selections Salad bar Several different meats to choose from Breads Sides Desserts whole cakes and pies or slices Coke products M/F restrooms Handicap parking and entrances Small dining area Catering Holiday fixins Friendly service Fantastic Southern cooking at its best. Worth making it your favorite stop !
