My first and last visit to S&S. The
trays were dirty and had food stuck to them. The servers on the line had a time trying to find clean plates to serve us with. My wife's glass had something floating in it. All this and we hadn't even sat down to eat yet. Finally sit down to eat and my $5 chicken leg was cold, dry and unseasoned. The veggies were cooked to mush and to top it off, the chess pie had a taste somewhere between nutmeg and furniture cleaner. I left half my food on my plate. My wife's meal was no better. then I had to pay $30 for it. The staff was nice. That's about all I can say that's good about the place. A lot of people seem to like it here. Maybe they had a bad day and if it was, it can only go up from there because it can't imagine it being any worse. 12 years in Macon and that was about the worst food experience I've had. I hope you can do better.

We ate there as a team after winning a syate wrestling championship! It was a quick line with tons of fresh food to choose from, wonderful service and the best home country cooking I ever had! Absolutely delicious! Would recommend 100 times over! Wish we had them where we live at! Very affordable, price depends on what all you get! It's an assembly line of sorts with multiple choices!

My husband and I frequently eat at this restaurant, usually dining in. For the most part the food is good and the service is good as well. The problem I have is that there are times I need to order online and I choose the curbside option. Over the past several months I have only been able to use this service once successfully. I have arrived and called the number and no one answers. If the service is not available or you have no one to work the option,the option should not be listed.

This is a great location with tons of parking. Turning left out of the parking lot is kind of a nightmare- be forewarned. The food is cafeteria style. It’s always very fresh and hot. The sides are our favorite, and the meals come with 2 sides and a choice of bread. It’s a great place to get food and head to the park across the interstate.

My experience. I'm standing in line. The young man at the salads offers the 3 folks in front of me a salad. At my turn he leaves. While I'm waiting for him to come back, flies descend upon the entire salad area. No salad for me. The deserts were the flies next stop. At the entrees, nothing looked appealing. I selected the fried catfish, cream corn, cheese grits, and a corn muffin. At the drinks area, the man was rude the older fella in front of me. Then apologized for being rude. THEN he was rude to me, and apologized for being rude. Being a @!#$^ then apologizing for being a @!#$^ doesn't make it ok. Sit down to eat and the food was cold. The fish tasted funny and when I broke open a piece of it, it was brown inside. The cream corn was awful. The corn muffin was hard and cold. The only pleasant experience was my server. I do not think I will be going back anytime soon.

I have to say that I haven’t been to S&S for years and to be honest after this trip I will never return again. The food was very poor quality, the servers in the line were definitely not interested in being at work. After trying a few things on the line my wife and I both decided we were better off throwing away $45.00 on the bad food than getting sick so we paid and walked out. Never again would I ever recommend or darken the door of any S&S Cafeteria.

Have been going here for many years. Do you remember the cherry pie that was so good? Gone. All their food used to be good, but no longer. It's ok, but nothing like it used to be.
