Fantastic experience thanks to the lovely waitress as she trained a new hire and made it seamless to the point it just appeared the other girl was just observing. The bartender was very tentative and aware of his surroundings. Even the to-go team was on point. At no point was anyone left unattended or neglected!!! Food overall was very good as always! Mushrooms were fantastic! Never a dull moment when you can come in have a cold drink with good food. Somewhere that you can easily bring friends and family too.

I loved the chicken tortilla soup, it was so delecious and the portion was filling. Loaded potatoe skin were so delecious as well as my son's alfredo pasta and my husband burger. My Hawaiian spicy chicken was a meh! I believe it was made of ground chicken patty rather than a chicken breast, it was falling apart so bad that I had to use a fork to eat it.

Wow, what a nice burger! Excellent service. Fair prices. The place was jamming and loud with everyone in the room having fun times. Our server has got to be the best Macomb has to offer! I kept telling Maggie I wanted to get back in that kitchen and get in on the craziness and rock out on the grill, but she had to remind me I wasn't 22 anymore and would just slow those rock stars down! We'll be back, I was so impressed by the excellent service and food.

I wanted chicken lips and had barbecue on them before but I couldn't remember that I had barbecue on them. So the sweet waitress kept on bringing me some things to put on my chicken lips to find out what was on top of them. She was so sweet and finally when I figured out what was on top of them she gave me a full thing of them. Excellent service and she never complained once.

If you’re from Macomb, go to WIU, etc. you know of Chick’s on the Square. It’s been awhile since I last visited, but recently was in the soup mood with my mom and we decided to treat ourselves to a cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup. I’ve had other chicken tortilla soup before, but nothing compares to Chick’s. Also, I’m a big fan of their Lip Fries! 😋

Food was great - portions are large. I got the salad with grilled chicken on it, was only able to eat at once took the rest with me. The hubs got the baked potato with a lip a day later he is still talking about how it was the perfect combo with the sauce. Kids portions were large as well, the toddler loved the Mac n cheese. Prices were what you expect - taste and size I think make it a great value.
