Very nice owner and friendly service. The food was pretty tasty and good quality. They were accommodating to my substitution request. I would certainly eat here again. The Jerusalem salad tasted better to me than the Greek salad, a little went a long way because of the extra flavorful dressing. Both the chicken and gyro meat was good. The restaurant was drafty so we decided to take the food to go. So far it’s my husband’s favorite spot to eat in Macomb.

The place was peaceful and had a great Mediterranean atmosphere with brilliant color and soft music. Great food. Tons of olive oil used, and everything fresh. Service was a little slow, however our waiter was also our cook and cashier. I definitely recommend this place if you want to try something different.

FIrst of all, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. It took 20 mins to get our drinks and all of our sodas were completely flat. When we mentioned the flat drinks, the waitress said the drink machine wasn't working and made some excuse that the machine needed ice and they had to go to the basement to get ice. She did try that but they were still completely flat. We got our food about an hour after we ordered (the kids only had chicken nuggets and fries which should not take more than 10-20 mins especially if we are the only ones in the restaurant). I had a gyro which was overcooked and served on a stale pita shell. My wife had chicken kabobs that had a terrible flavor that must be "authentic" - tasted like a combo of curry and cinnamon. And lastly I had a piece of baklava that was old and completely burnt. With all of that said, I would not recommend eating here. Keep driving and skip this place!

It is always quiet when we are there but that isn't a bad thing. The food is always delicious and fresh. I love the beef schwarma! They do both dine in and take out, which is good for the WIU students and locals. My husband an I come often.

We had a really poor experience here, and I'm really not sure if it was a fluke or what. I'll start off by saying it was the waitress's first day, which is understandable. But really there is only so much we can let slide. We walked in and sat down. It took five minutes for the waitress to approach us then ten minutes until we actually got our water. After we got our water, a group of people that walked in got their drinks in a timely manner. My boyfriend's water was fine, but mine had a really weird taste. I'm not talking faucet taste, I'm talking like some kind of food. Oddly citrus flavored but you could tell it was not on purpose (dish water maybe???), I did not touch the water for the remainder of the dinner and the waitress did not notice. MKy boyfriend ordered a Turkish coffee. The coffee came fifteen minutes after the water. We both must confess that we have not had Turkish coffee before so if we are incorrect here, our bad. But first of all, it looked nothing like a googled description of picture of Turkish coffee. No foam or anything, just flat. Second of all, it smelled also strangely fruity and lemon-y? Which makes no sense right? Then there was the taste. It tasted truly like poison. We know it is suppose to be a thick coffee, but there had to have been something wrong. Who knows. 45-50 minutes after getting our water, we finally got our food. We had ordered combination platters of basically all their kabobs they had to offer. Maybe that was our mistake, maybe we should have just should ordered euros and left it at that. Even though kabob is in their name. Anyway, it's not like the meal was BAD but the mean was SOSOSOSO overcooked, it was almost inedible. It would take a full minute to chew the lamb. The chicken was the most tolerable, but still again very very very chewy. I had to rely on the sauce they gave us to give any flavor to the beef whatsoever to get it down my throat. Then it came with a soup. which I should also mention, wasn't terrrrrible, epr say. But it was also just not something I would ever want to eat. It tasted like tomato soup with absolutely no flavoring at all. It was basically the blandest tomato soup you've ever had with pees and corn in it. I'm a girl who loves soup. In general, it's one of my favorite foods. But I did not bother eating this as there was so little flavor, there was no point. The point is, this meal came out to be around 50 dollars, including a tip. If it were me paying and not my boyfriend I would have asked for someone and told them there is no way I'm paying that much for this terrible meal. Maybe this whole event was a fluke for this place. Maybe you should only go there if you're getting euros. Maybe I should have told my boyfriend to wait in the car while I told them the multitudes of disappointments they made us endure. We could have gotten better food at Sodexo.

One of my favorite places in Macomb. Food is always fresh and tasty. The owner is super friendly and informative as well. The dishes are always nicely presented as well. I usually get the vegetarian plate, which includes a bit of everything and is always great.

So, I had my mouth set for this gyro all week. Im at the counter paying. I check my food, an onion fell off......and lo and behold Mr.Roach appeared in a matter of seconds! I went to the car with my food and I just couldn't. I went back in to get my money. The cashier knew what happened. Manager acting crazy. I'm like, look, please don't get loud with me. Do you want me to go show your dine in customers this?👇 (A pic of a roach on the counter). Got my $10.30. First, I'm not sure if that's what gyro meals cost anymore. Second, I'm disappointed because they're the closest I was going to get to Chicago.....appetite ruined. I really wanted my gyro with mustard, onions, pickles, and hot peppers. Guess I'll be making a trip to the Chi real soon.....😢

The Mediterrenian music tinkled in the background. The smell of roasted meat filled the air. The owner was so kind to us (and my rambunctious kids). The food is made with love and tastes like it.
