Came here in the evening for drinks and to listen to the live piano playing. This part of the hotel doesn't require formal dress in the evenings. The atmosphere inside the bar is great. The drinks, while very good, were also the most expensive drink I ever ordered so we only had one each - it is the Grand Hotel so it was not surprising and part of the experience if staying the night.

The Cupola Bar has some of the best views on Mackinac Island. This is a must visit. We recommend it.

Kisha was our server and she was amazing. I ordered a whiskey sour and my partner had a vodka Sprite. Both were mixed perfectly. We plan to come here in the morning to see the sunrise since we were told the view for sunrise is amazing.

Where to begin…the view! Outstanding. The food…fresh, tasty and beautiful. The service…Candy smiles from within and took care of us with a joy in her heart that showed. The Bloody Mary…only the absolute best I’ve ever had; kudos to our unseen bartender. My brother and I will be back again someday but for now it’s a beautiful memory for us both.

Went last year for a drink and once the wedding party cleared out, no one was there! It was a rainy night so no view either, and whats worse is 10 yrs ago this was a favorite spot... but it hasn't changed and was very tired decor wise, and the staff was not fun.... Carlton needs to update this space!
