Sonic Drive-in

Food is just okay. The main reason I went was for real lemonade but the recent shipping issues have caused a shortage of lemons (I guess?)so no lemonade. I've never gotten a burger there with the cheese melted. And the patties are usually barely warm. I love the cheese sticks though! The desserts are pretty good although I personally prefer more than the small amount of toppings they provide. I rarely go to Sonic any longer as there are so many better burger joints out there.

Every time. I come and order the same thing almost every time and EVERY SINGLE TIME it is wrong. A supersonic breakfast burrito. Eggs, cheese, onions, tomato, jalapeño, sausage and tots. This time I got lettuce(?), egg and sausage...? All they have to do is look at their own menu? I don't understand why it is so hard. I don't recommend this place. Or sonic in general, honestly. The other locations do the same thing. I'm done trying with this place. Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else.

What was once fast and respectful service has now turned to attitudes and lack of customer service from carhops. Waiting for 20 minutes for someone to at least take the order only to receive more attitude again. After 30 minutes FINALLY someone responded. I understand the place gets busy, that comes with the territory. That does not HOWEVER excuse the attitude nor the walking away from our vehicle mid-sentence while we were still speaking, and pleading for help. Time for some new employees. Managers were respectful it was strictly the carhops who treated the customers terrible.

I find it astonishing how the quality of this location is so much lower than any other of the sonic locations in/around San Antonio. It seems that no matter what you order, there's always something either missing, or made wrong. Do not order anything with chili on it from this location. The chili itself is fine, but they'll never put anything more than a teaspoon size serving. As much as they charge, you'd think they'd at least be consistent with other locations. Don't bother here, if you're going south, skip it and head to Devine. If north, head up to Military. Even if the owners are the same (not sure), something at this location is just... Off.

Bottom Line: long wait, inaccurate orders & bad service. Placed a normal order for breakfast burritos via the drive through. Waited 20 minutes to pay and an overall 32 minutes to get the order. There were no vehicles in front of us, but a handful in the pull-in spots. Would not have placed a negative review because I understand maybe they were understaffed. But when they brought the food out they told us “next time it would be better if you call ahead to place your order.” ….. what? It’s a fast food restaurant and it was not a large order. Totally blew my mind…. And after all that they got our order completely wrong when we got home and opened it. Don’t go here if you want food on time and correct to the order.

Not too happy this trip. I normally give good reviews for this Sonic. However, this trip took forever. I was in line about the fifth vehicle in line. I waited about ten minutes until finally it was my turn. I ordered one slush and 2 ice cream cones. When I was at the window instead of making my order the employee made everone's drink order and Sonic blast. I'm pretty sure you should take care of your customer that drives up and not make them wait another eight minutes especially when your order is small. They need better management and better help!!
