Dutch mothers is a unique experience. It is an older building that looks like it may once have been a house, and it is decorated with all manner of interesting things
Secondly, the food is one of a kind. It's not like every cookie cutter restaurant these days. The offerings like pannekoek and sausages with pierogies are thing you just don't see elsewhere.
They also offer their own homemade pies for dessert, and the coffee is actually good and not your typical restaurant coffee.
The breakfast that I had of the Dutch pancake with lots of bacon and two eggs that were cooked to perfection was awesome. The Dutch Pancake is extremely large and was on a platter size plate and still hung over the edges by several inches. The service was also outstanding, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for all travelers even if it means going out of your way.
I've never been disappointed! They are kind, and attentive. Two times now, they've special made fresh biscuits and gravy for me. And boy are they good! The theme of the restaurant is very cute, cozy and rustic!
Super cute family friendly place to eat. Comfort food and huge portions! Great to share or take home for later.
This place is always great. I went for breakfast this time, but their split pea soup is freaking excellent. My wife rants about it's greatness
Good food, visited after 20 years, It was better then. Definitely stop and get my favorite Dutch Apple pie! Yummy
We always try to stop here when we pass through Lynden. We love their pannekoekens. And the pies are amazing.
