Hardee's

I was so excited to eat here! Where I'm from we have no Hardee's. The wait to place your order was about 7-10 minutes and they didn't even make eye contact. They were extremely busy though. I ordered a sausage gravy platter. That was amazing but could use more sausage. I also go an order of French toast sticks and they were hard as a rock. So I got them to make me a new order. She put sugar on them and it was much better then the 1st ones. I imagine when the Luray season begins for tourists, this place can get very crowded

I seriously had to go back to the register after eating and tell the young lady at the counter (Melissa per my receipt) how impressed I was. They are obviously short handed. Employees are doing several jobs. The line is around the outside of the building and a steady flow walks in. In spite of that, our food order was right, the food was hot, it tasted good, we didn't wait 10 minutes for food even if that long. There was no grumbling among employees, things were going like a well oiled machine there. Could they have attended to the lobby wiping tables, yes but there's just not enough help. I wiped my own table, no problem. Did the coffee run out - yes, but they refill you over the counter. I need to give them a raving formal review because in times like this, where moral is low and people don't want to work, the Luray Hardee's had their act together this morning!

My cousin treated me to a coffee and a chicken sandwich. I wanted a hot honey chicken biscuit which was advertised on a sign, but they explained that was for breakfast. They did put the hot honey on the sandwich and let me tell you it's HOT!!! They do have regular honey which they serve with the tenders which is what my cousin got with a sweet tea. We both enjoyed catching up with each other over our food.

This place will take your money and then 'accidently' give you the wrong order that is the equivalent of dog food. Carls JR (or Hardee's) is a multi billion dollar franchise, how does this place even exist? If you're in Luray don't even think about it, I suspect this place doesn't have any actual produce to sell half the menu items they advertise. Recommendation: Higher level management should go through the drive through one night unannounced and see for themselves what their food is like, now that would be a sight to see.

Hardee's is the closest to my home when it comes to fast food. It's walking distance, actually. Cool unless you're a food addict, such as myself. I figure if I "over extend or if I'm overboard" in what I order and eat from Hardee's, it'll balance out because I had to walk there to get it, right? Well not exactly. Anyway, if you have never had the biscuits & gravy from Hardee's, you are missing out on a great thing. My heartfelt sympathy for you. ❤️ Ordered the new Bacon Beast & it was a beast alright. A delicious bacony beast of a burger! 🤗
