Ruby Tuesday

Stopped in for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Waiter was friendly but overbearing and cornered me (literally) to insist that I sign up for the rewards program, and only came to the table when my husband was up to the salad bar or restroom, ignored us when he was seated, which made me uncomfortable. The food was hot but that's all I can say for it. Steaks lacked flavor. Ribs were all fat and dripping with grease. Shrimp were undercooked and mashed potatoes were definitely from a box. The best thing on either of our plates was the grilled zucchini and that's being generous.

The salad bar was delicious...the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. I was greeted by a lady at the door, she asked dine in or carry out, I said I would like take out for the salad bar. She sent me to the bar to wait on the bartender, after waiting almost 10 minutes I asked the greeter about the box she said the bartender is in the back picking up food for a table she'll be right with you. The bartender was waiting tables and refilling drinks, I've been there...jobs now you have to wear many hats so I waited. My problem is I was never explained anything to I stood there waiting and when I finally got the box fixed my salad and when I was ready to pay the bartender stuck the machine out for my card never looked at me never said thank u for waiting, thank you period. So i said thank you have a good day, and still nothing. My problem here is that anyone that has a job right now is over worked, every where we go we have to wait but acknowledge people be kind to people it's hard on us all.

I got the chicken corn chowder. Just right for my sensitive tummy while traveling. Other dishes with good feedback: Chicken quesadillas, BBQ burger, plain cheeseburger- all good. My daughter loved the option of roasted corn instead of fries. Carrot cake ok, not as moist as I like it. Good service, slightly slow but we were there when the dinner crowd starting coming in around 7pm on a Thursday.
