Outback Steakhouse

The food as well as the service is consistently extraordinary, in my opinion. We’ve been eating there, mostly take-out regularly since the pandemic began. I usually treat myself to their steak & lobster. A+++ My husband loves their cheeseburgers. The steak dip is beyond good. It can be difficult, even with good places, to find one that always gets the food & order correct while being friendly. They are 100% consistent and that really matters to us. Best in Lufkin in our opinion 🥳

Food and service has been and will always be outstanding. Even better than Texas Roadhouse. Yeah, I said it. In all seriousness, I love this place and it’s workers. Especially Shanon, every time I get her as my waitress I always know that service will above and beyond and she always knows exactly when our drinks are getting low somehow. On top of that she’s a lively person that just makes the night that much better.

We were seated. As we waited and decided on our menus, folks who were seated after us were waited on and received their drink orders. Three waiters/waitresses walked by our table none of them asked what we wanted to order. We usually get seated in the bar area, but it was full. The best waiter is a Marine. The best waitress has a son with Type 1 Diabetes. We didn't see either of them. Our previous visits have been very good. Today was off. After being ignored, we left. My husband told the entry attendant our table was now available and why. She asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. We told her we did not. This didn't seem to be a manager issue. It's an issue that should be dealt with at the waitstaff level.
