Applebee's

A nice restaurant in the Ludington area. Came here with a small group. Service was good overall. Bar was a bit busy so drinks took a bit but waitress was very nice and communicated about it. So no biggie. The food was surprisingly decent. I have not had Applebee's in quite a long time. Maybe 10+ years and I don't remember good things. I would say the food was average overall. The pasta on the Mac and cheese was overcooked but the sauce was good. The sauce on the chicken was good but the size of the chicken was pretty small. The steaks were undercooked which for me is great but others are the table prefer a medium well steak ( I say this one is the chef not wanting to ruin a good steak) The salads were good, the mixed drinks were good. Overall a pleasant experience. The food was just ok but the drinks and service were great.

Service was very good, better than we've had in quite awhile. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food. Ordered the baby back ribs- never been disappointed before. But this time not so. Full rack was a LOT smaller than normal, had almost no sauce on them, if any at all, and were not fall apart tender as usually are. A very small container of sauce came on the side. I had to order another container for what went home. Dessert was delicious.

Delicious, as almost always, today. The steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered. The fiesta chicken was really good - rice needed to be cooked a little more but other than that, the flavor was great. Service was excellent - very friendly and on top of our table, drinks constantly kept full, etc. Wide variety of food to choose from.

This location needs to go to Traverse City and teach them how to run a restaurant! Every time we come to Ludington, it's a must to stop at this Applebee's and eat! Always great service and the food is phenomenal!! Not to mention, our food comes out 10mins after we order! Please send some cooks up to TC and teach them how to cook! 🥴🤣
