Waffle House

We've eaten at this Waffle House many times and have always had exemplary service and enjoyed delicious food. To expound on customer service, last week at at very wee hours of the morning I found myself waiting in a hospital parking lot after my husband was involved in an accident. I knew it would be hours and hours before hearing anything, so I drove to the Waffle House and placed a takeout order. When I picked it up, not only was the food so well prepared and comforting, but Scott and Shay were so very kind and caring. Without prying, they learned a bit about my situation and offered the kindest words. I'm very lucky to say the morning went very well at the hospital and I went home happy with a healthy husband, but Scott and Shay's kind gestures and conversation truly made a difference in a very tough night. I can say this restaurant consistently has fast, good service and great food, but it also has some great people running the show. We will visit again soon.

5/20/2022 at 1:35am this server refused to give me her name after the terrible service she gave me and my friends. I simply asked if they offer discounts for military. She said no and I told her that is false because every Waffle House I go to does it without question. I even showed my ID. Then the cook and the server who claim to be the night managers said I can go “fuck” myself and again refused to give me their names. The order was wrong and they had an attitude the whole time when we were the only ones in there. I will not return to this location ever again.

I’ve normally had a very good experience here at my local Waffle House. Our waitress Olivia seemed to not know much of the menu and forgot to give us our drinks until I said something to her. She proceeded to bring drinks to table and spilled most of the coffee on the floor and then brought waters with barely any ice in the cups. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with no meat and my husband ordered 2 eggs scrambled and a chocolate chip waffle. We got our food and my husband got scrambled eggs, toast and grits which he didn’t order the toast or grits and then asked the server about his waffle and she proceeded to say she ‘forgot’ about the waffle… needless to say we were disappointed in our service this morning. Olivia needs more training and needs to be more efficient and responsive in serving.
