Josie's Authentic Mexican Food

If you are traveling through Lubbock avoid Josie's Grossies. Josie's, Josie's, Josie's....where do I begin with this place. Before I left the area in 2005 Josie's was one of the best places to eat Mexican food. I had ate there a few times before and it was good. Flash forward to my visit back in November. The waitress took our order from her podium, she didn't even come to our table. The place was dirty as hell, we looked up at the ceiling and there was just a layer of dust and probably grease. I wanted to leave then and should have. We get our food and it is just disgusting. My girlfriend looked at me and asked "If I opened a restaurant do you think people would eat my food?" and even though that's what she asked I knew what she was saying, I replied "YES, yes baby they would!" We finally decided we had had enough ( a few bites) and we left. The waitress thought we were pissed about the service, we were, but not so much as we were about the food.
