No welcome to the Bent Nail. No thanks for visiting. No Come back y'all. No nothing but teenagers on their phones. Never once looked up. Can't say the service was worth going back to spend the money we did tonight, $40.00 for chopped brisket, sausage that was dry, and 2 waters to drink. Sad story to tell. 😣 We love to support a local business, but not this time. Hopefully others will have a better experience!

Ive been a patron of The Bent Nail since day one. I am sad to say, the food quality and consistency has diminished greatly in the past year of 2021. The friendliness of the staff has also reached a low since the business first opened. In fact, the decline of these two paramount elements have been the only consistencies I have experienced this year. I order the same 2 to 4 items on the menu, but unfortunately, today was the last time. I hope they will refund my $36. The price has increased due to obvious reasons, but why should the service and quality decrease equally and simultaneously.

The food here folks is amazing. Don't miss out. Come support this local owner, such a nice bunch of employee that work there. We want this place to stay in biz. We had the burnt ends, ribs, brisket. Plus Mac and cheese is so delicious.

The only reason I give this 4 stars and not five is because they were out of all the meats except chicken, sausage, and the spare rib tips. Because of this they graciously gave us lots of extra meat so it was a pretty great deal! They were excellent! Running out only means you amazing barbecue! The chicken was a little too spicy for my wife but I thought it was great. We also had the Mac and cheese which was also good. We hope to return soon and try other meats, if they haven’t run out yet! UPDATE: Went back and man was it amazing again! Staff is awesome and food was great. Finally had their brisket and man was it melt in your mouth delicious, with a great smoke ring and flavor was off the charts. You gotta try Bent Nail definitely one of the best in town!

Brisket was about 60% fat. Hatch sausage casing was so tough it was almost like it was set out then refrigerated and then warmed up. To top it off when I pulled up to get the food two employees were vaping in the kitchen area not wearing gloves and just stared when I drove up. Evie Maes is better, cheaper, and much nicer.

I got the pulled pork with green beans and bacon. My wife got the "moist" sliced brisket with squash. The pulled pork is simply delicious. You'll need to ask for a lot of extra BBQ sauce, but it's great. The sliced brisket is flavorful and "moist" just means the fat is still on the meat. The lean has a 2 dollar upcharge which they didn't explain, but we wanted the more flavorful meat. The green beans are good, but the squash was much better. We don't normally go for squash but it was an excellent surprise! The BBQ sauce is good, tangy with black pepper. The meat quality blows away what Dickey's used to serve in the same location.

Checked out this place based on reviews and I must say they were incorrect. The service was great, and that's all that was great. I had the brisket Frito pie. The brisket was dry, the beans were bland, the sauce wasn't good at all. I had potato salad as the side and it was uneditable. I' never go here again, I guess I expected better at such a premium price. If I hadn't been traveling I would have taken this back it was so bad. Avoid.

Very friendly folks and the chopped brisket sandwich was good, and pretty large. It came with a side dish but I got so full that I was unable to make a happy plate. Enjoy 😉
