Denny's

Dining experience was excellent. My servers name was Sam G and he went above excellent to make sure me and my wife had the perfect dining experience! Everything was perfect just the environment was really chilly considering its very cold outside. Other than that food was perfect and my server was very kind.

Experience was excellent. I took my son there for his birthday as this is where he wanted to go. Hes a breakfast allday kinda guy. Eitherway the staff was polite, precise, friendly and we were never forgotten. The Food OMG the cook whomever he is I wish I'd gotten his name. It was midafternoon Thursday the 30th of December. The food was AWESOME. FROM the breakfast my son couldn't get enough of to the cheeseburger I ordered it was just cooked to perfection. The din8ng area was clean as well as the kitchen and the bathrooms were clean I give this place 5 stars. Staff 10 stars.

I want to tell about my experience at this location on December 11th. We had just left the Candlelight Walk and wanted to go eat a bite with our kids. We decided on Denny's on Avenue Q. We got there pretty late in the evening and they had already closed off the back part of the restaurant. I told the young lady that we had 4 adults and 2 kids. She opened up a booth in the back corner to accommodate us. She seated us, took our drink order and brought our drinks very quickly. It appeared that there were only 2 young ladies working that night. She took our order and kept checking on us while we were waiting on the food. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and this waitress was excellent. I wish I had remembered her name. The food was exactly what we ordered and we all thought it was good. I know Denny's get a bad rap and I wanted to give this location and this young lady a shout out. Job well done.

Tried to eat breakfast this morning at around 4:30am & the place was closed. Dennys is supposed to be 24hours not open when you feel like it. This man didn't even bother to open the door for us, but made signs that we’re not opened. All while his sitting down lounging. There was also a woman in the back as well. We called the place no answer. Very unsatisfied & will be calling cooperate!

REVISED UPDATE: I am Done with this location. Been back a couple of times during the day with family. No more problems. Checked the website for a coworker who wanted a bite after work (2am) AFTER telling her that I'd reviewed the place, but the issues Id faced seem to have been resolved. All seems good now. Check the website. It says Open 24 hours for all 7 days (updated 7 weeks ago). My friend, trusting my word, stopped in that early, early, morning (after our 9 hour shift) to be told "carry out only." She can't even sit down to eat! She ordered anyway, Paid cash. Waited. and had to wait again because the hash browns were missing. This is ridiculous. Just NO. I'm done. Will never again reccomend this location and will actively discourage friends from going. Seriously, it's not like they haven't had time to fix their night shift issues. If you want food after dark, just go somewhere else. The employees at this place just. do. not. care. and it shows. --------- Good food. Two great waitstaff members. And that's all. Actual hours of operation are inconsistent with times posted on the door and online. I was going to give only one star, but I bumped it up one each or the really good cook for the cheerful red haired waitress. ***** update ***** After several months, I check and find the place is once more open 24 hours. Yippie! Just kidding! At least this time, someone was kind enough to post a note. I added 1 star because good manners deserve recognition.
