Silk’s Good Eats is a delicious Cajun joint hidden within Bash Riprock’s, a bar in Lubbock. Silk himself is from Louisiana and moved to Lubbock and knows what he’s doing in his shop. I’m not sure how busy he is but I hope people continue visiting because it is so good!

I graduated from Tech in 2000 and went back this weekend. The place hasn't changed a bit and I love it. They still have pint night on Monday. They did expand so there is live music. You can still smoke here which is awesome. It was summer so there weren't as many beers on tap

I paid $5.75 for the same drink I paid $3.00 for here lastnight. Bartender is unneccessarily rude, snarky, condescending and displays obvious disinterest with her job. She openly complained I didn't tip her, well that's for a reason. To management at Bashes, I love the place and its vibes but after two disipointing experiences with the same bartender two nights in a row, im not certain I will return nor advise any of my friends to come here ever again. Also it smells terrible here, they need plumbing work and bathroom door doesnt even shut.

Funny. I was served a beverage after silence overcame the 3 at the bar. Latin night. I’m in town in business. Didn’t know. Sorry. Kitchen closed. Ok. Drank my beer. 15 minutes later, dinner served to this guy. Really? You think I can’t see? Ok. It’s fine. I’ll keep my money. Drink still empty. Several came in. Served immediately. So. I got up, went three feet to the server pad and ordered. Went three feet back to my seat. I have never seen this procedure before. So. Be warned. Even if your sitting directly in front of the bartender and want a beer, get in line. You can not just sit and wait. But. Beer was cold. But you must wait in line. She was really busy with her friends. So. Be patient.
