Amazing!. We visited a few weeks ago after receiving a coupon for Eddies. The beef was perfectly tender and the sausage just spicy enough, easily the best BBQ in Lubbock! On top of the delicious food, the staff was all very friendly. If only they were open for dinner, too!
Yum. We stopped in on a Friday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by fun, live music, and a friendly staff. The meat is decently smoked, the sauce is good, the sides are tasty. I would not rate this as the best BBQ I have ever had, but it was a very fun, enjoyable and pleasant lunch, and in particular one of the other guests with me had an amazing Fritto Pie that was the best any of us had ever seen, and she had ever tasted.
I will definately return, and this is a great, local spot that I highly recomend.
Best Bar B Q & party locationEVER!!!. It's not just that it's in a hole in the wall location, off the beaten chain restaurant row... or that you can only get it for lunch OR that it's not available on weekends.... IT IS GREAT MEAT! Walkin in, you get a friendly Hello, Hey Brother if you are a man and then you can decide what to get! Having Eddies for lunch is awesome, but have Eddie cater something and now you're talking. From a real Texas Boot Scoot private function there, or your location of choice... You can't beat Eddies!!!
Eddie's is a treasure!. I gotta say I agree with that blogger's review 100%. I love to go to Eddie's for a sliced brisket sandwich (maybe the best in town) and make it a point to drop by when I am around. Since I've been going there a while Eddie knows me and if he can he usually comes out to say hello and make sure everything is alright. I hope he's around for a long time!
This place is definitely a hidden gem Amazing food amazing people thanks Mr.Eddie I'll definitely be returning
You know when you are at the right place when you pull up and see nothing but construction vehicles parked outside. I had the 2 meat plate. I selected sliced brisket, and sausage. With potato salad and coleslaw.
The flavor of the brisket was amazing. Great smoke ring, and the seasoning was on point. When you pulled the brisket it had a good pull, and broke cleanly. The sausage had jalapenos in it. They weren't too hot, and had great flavor. The cherry cobbler was amazing.
I definitely recommend this place. I have been here several times, and the quality has been great every time.
Amazing food, and the staff here treats everyone like famly
I'm in awe with the bbq. So good! And the owner Eddie is so nice, thank you Eddie for the hospitality.
Probably the best BBQ brisket I have ever eaten. And I got it on a frito pie. It was delicious. The sausage however was a little spicy, not too much for my liking but know that if you are a fan of sausage at places such as this, it was considerably more spicy than other places I’ve tried recently. But the brisket had a subtle sweetness that made it absolutely delicious, didn’t even need to add any sauce over top of it. The dining area was clean, the tables were wiped off and clean and the atmosphere was nice, cool and quintessentially Texan. I slashed one star off the score because the lady who took my order was not particularly friendly especially for them not being particularly busy. Otherwise if you’re looking for some good wholesome BBQ with a nice “hole in the wall,” Texan feel, look no further!
