I tried Lee's Cafe for the first time today and I am very impressed with this restaurant. I did a To go order of the chicken fried chicken cabbage, macaroni, red beans and rice. Everything was cook perfectly and the flavors were like a party in my mouth. The chicken fried chicken had a beautiful crisp to the outside while the inside was just so tender. I will definitely be going back and will be definitely trying out the royal seafood and buckets of love ❤️.

Discovered Lee's Café tonigh and it made our weekend! Had the oxtail plate with cabbage and bacon and red beans and rice. Cabbage was great! Best red beans & rice I've had this side of Louisiana. First time trying oxtail and it did not disappoint! Tender, rich, and covered in succulent brown gravy.
Soul food so good we were excited just reading the menu! Even short staffed, the staff is super friendly and made us feel at home.
The rest of the fam enjoyed the Southern style seafood from the Royal Seafood Shack (same kitchen). Everyone was pleased as pie! We have a new fave in The Hub!

The food and prices are very good. The service was terrible. Our waiter was too busy joking around and not waiting on us. The food arrived and we had to wait for the utensils to be washed. Our drinks got empty more than once. We had to wait to long for our check. The young man also came to our table with bloody tissue hanging from his nose. Very dissatisfied with service after being seated.

Restaurant did have what we wanted. The workers was playing around in the kitchen and out in dining area hitting each other with wet towels. And the little short Hispanic lady had attitude and doesn't know how to talk to customers. Mr and Mrs Lee staff here is a joke.

Ordered the fried chicken along with Chicken and Waffle. The staff was friendly and attentive and I enjoyed my chicken tenders on the waffle. However, the fried chicken seemed like it wasn't marinated at all before it was battered, breaded, and fried. The breading on the fried chicken was great but the chicken underneath was pretty bland. The portion sizes are good and we were brought extra ocra. Wish it was a bit cleaner. The floors were really sticky, and it had the pungent odor of frying oil. Also, a lot of flies. I'd suggest having an activated carbon air purifier to mitigate the odor, and a big zapper to control the fly problem. Mopping the floors with a degreasing solution should take care of the sticky floors. Overall price was a little bit on the high side but could be justified with a few simple improvements and changes.

First thing I'd like to say is Sarah the waitress was very attentive made my wife and I feel welcome I give her 5 stars.
I give the food 4 stars.
Good home cooked meals. I had the chicken fried chicken with white gravy regular cornbread and mac and cheese.
The chicken fried chicken was so so the regular cornbread was very moist and delicious and the mac and cheese was so so.
My wife had the pork chops, jalapeno cornbread and a side salad.
The pork chops were really good but they just needed some gravy the jalapeno cornbread was very dry so she didn't eat it.
Overall it was a good experience for home cooking because the service was so good.
