I ordered a cake for my mom’s 50th birthday, and it turned out absolutely beautiful! It tasted SO good. The butter cream icing here is my favorite! I honestly don’t think I have tasted any that are comparable to it. There is so much detail in every little thing that they serve and present here, beyond the tortes/cakes and cupcakes. I have only been here a few times recently, and I’ve been excited and impressed to be there each time. They have always been inviting; ready and happy to help. Such a nice local bakery!

We ordered a cake and cutting cake for our wedding. Carolyn couldn’t have been nicer and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. We were looking for floral designed cupcakes and she coordinated the icing colors with fillings (peanut butter and chocolate mousse)! Everything was delicious and beautiful and we had so many compliments!

I bought a toasted almond torte for my 40th birthday and it was as wonderful as I had remembered. Everyone loved it! I ordered it on a Tuesday, as they are closed Mondays. I paid for it over the phone and picked it up Saturday monrning before the party. One of the staff was also nice enough to help me find a vegan chocolate cake recipe she had used and really liked so I can make a cake for my brother with dairy restrictions.

Don't know what to say...while Mazziotti Bakery may not have the name recognition of a more known establishment do yourself a favor and give them a visit. The cookies are amazing...the pies are 'the Bomb'...the cheesecakes while made to order are just that 'made just for you' and are amazing. The staff is even better than... helpful and friendly and get this...they actually care. Yes.. give this place a chance... you won't be disappointed

A treasure in the AK Valley! Hand made, scratch bakery is still known for its almost famous Italian bread however... the cakes, pies and cookies are the real find! There's nothing assembly line in this place. Every thing is created in small batches by skilled bakers the old fashion way. The cake decorating is nothing short of artistry and this small staff will work with you to create desserts that are a treat to the eye and most delicious... and let's talk about their icing!! Call for special requests or stop in and select treats from the counter... they are even open for a few hours on Sunday mornings! You will not find anything like Mazziotti Bakery in the Valley... (and treat yourself to the chocolate chip cookie for the ride home).
