Lake Dale Ale

I recently had lunch with friends at Lake Dale Ale. I suggested going there after hearing that a good hot beef sandwich they served was worth the drive. We all ordered the hot beef sandwiches. The sandwich was worth the drive and I will go back again. It’s a small local restaurant that gave us good service and I recommend going to Lake Dale Ale.

It's a Bar and Food place that has turned to no smoking (that was nice) noted for their Italian Beef it was a nice size sandwich served on Garlic bread w/ cheese, but to me it lacked that nice Italian flavor, the juice had no flavor at all! The services was excellent! Also no children allowed except for Sat. And Sun. Morning they serve a breakfast! I guess if you want a sandwich and a beer it's that kind of place.

We wanted to try a new place so we picked this place. I am not usually the one to write bad reviews but I cannot believe how disappointed I was. I ordered food for takeout. First off, $14 for a meal seemed super high to me. But I figured if it was anything like restaurant style and was good it would be worth it. The portion was small. The fries were so soggy it seemed like they were cooked in the microwave. The philly steak sandwich was super plain with bread that was not toasted. It seemed more like a beef sandwich, but it was not good. I ended up not eating it and just went to Mcdonald's instead.
