Great place to stop by during the summer! Lots of good ice cream and shakes. I love chocolate shakes and there's are very good they also have the absolute best orange sherbet! The hotdogs are very good as well. Nice place to stop by well walking your dog and grab some ice cream! Definitely stop by when they open back up!

The gardens here are fantastic. Someone has a real ability to put colors together. The ice cream was excellent. We found that they make flurries different than expected with lots of large chunks of candy or cookies rather then smaller mixed in. It still was a very good product and value. This was our first visit and looking forward to more.

I've been going here for a long time. My grandpa introduced me here and would take me a lot.
I usually get ice cream here but they have a lot of other options like their famous chili cheese dogs.
I recommend the Oreo flurries or the brownies flurry.
The only problem I have with this place is that they only accept cash. They do have an ATM next to them though. Also their prices have gone up a bit.

Been a customer since the 70’s!! Absolute favorite food is chili dog with pickles, onions and cheese. Pulled pork sandwich is amazing too. Favorite ice cream is orange sherbet with twinkle cote. Cash only now - ATM machine on side of building.

Excellent quality and fast friendly service. The best quality soft-serve. The gardens around the tables outside is always beautiful! Beware that they are cash only if you prefer plastic, atm on site.

There are two places in Lowell for a tasty ice cream treat. Ball's is on the east end of town. I live closer to Ball's, and they are open every day. I'm not a diabetic, but I try to limit my sugar. Ball's Dole Whip does the trick. It has consistency like blended ice rather than the creaminess of ice cream.

This place is so nostalgic to Lowell. I remember being a kid and smelling the flowers and eating a lemon/orange twisty cone with the candy eyes. Now I still get that but with sprinkles because I am AN ADULT. Lol. Also I love that they still do cash only. It’s part of the nostalgia and it helps the business stay open. For those who don’t carry cash, instead of complaining and moaning about not carrying cash on you, there’s a lovely bank right across the street if you happened to forget. ;)

They are open! The ice cream is fantastic. The guys were very helpful because I didn't know they also serve food items. They are cash only with good prices. Well worth stopping for..even when alittle chilly!

Friendly people - family owned :-) Good ice cream and excellent pulled pork BBQ sandwiches - I can barely eat two!!
Nice atmosphere as well. Don't forget your cash though, as they don't take credit or debit cards.

I love Ball's! Always yummy ice cream and chili dogs! And it is the prettiest ice cream shop. I want my yard to look like theirs!
