Mi Sueno Restaurant

Their lunch menu includes a choice of rice with a meat and a side. We opted for chicken ($10) and ropa vieja ($11). It was delivered quickly through uber. It was one of those big chicken legs but it was actually very well done, though skin was over grilled a bit. Cilantro Rice was made well and Maduros were on point. Ropa Vieja is a Cuban national dish, therefore every Cuban resturant will be very proud to showcase their authentic preparation and taste of this delicious flank steak. I have to admit, it is not as tasty as some other ones that I tried and portion size was on the smaller side. However, I have to say again, Buechel area is a little hidden gem with authentic cuisine from all over the world. Mi Sueno is authentically Cuban owned and I would recommend you to trying it out.

I’d recommend this place to anyone. Stepping inside brought me to a different place. The meal all around phenomenal. I have not got a bad meal from this guy. Cuba sandwich off the chain, but the box meal is the deal. Heaps of rice and tender braised meats, fresh mixed veg or plantains.. So much respect for the man behind the counter. Amazing spot But over all Idk if I go there for the food or for the fresh fruit drinks. Must try.
