One day I'll explore the menu, but right now it's either Huevos Rancheros or the Smothered Burrito. Both are delicious. Staff is warm and attentive. And we always go when Kristin is working!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Bob's. The breakfast plates we ordered were amazing and their prices were slightly below what fresh cooked breakfasts run these days. We ordered the "I Can't Decide" plate and chicken fried steak. Not normally one to rave about eggs but their scrambled eggs were superb and had a brighter yellow color than we're used to seeing, which reminded us of small production farm-fresh eggs. The ham that we ordered with the "I Can't Decide" was juicy and meaty and reminded us of an oven baked Christmas or Thanksgiving ham. Wish we had pineapple jelly for the ham, but it was delicious on its own. Pancakes were also very good, but just note that the regular size pancakes here tend to be the fluffy and thick type so don't go too crazy when adding butter. The Chicken Fried Steak was the highlight for me. It is a thicker cut of meat in a slightly crisp batter, drenched in a tasty gravy that has a subtle cajun+Mexican flavor. Regarding service, our waitress and the host were both very attentive and friendly, and they checked our coffee cups often. Lastly, parking on busier days can be hard to find as this Main Street area is well-known for great food and vibes so be prepared to walk a bit during peak hours.

This place is incredible! We are not locals and kind of stumbled on to it. I was feeling a little under the weather so I got the #1 light breakfast (egg, bacon, potato and toast). It was VERY nice. My wife got a more traditional full size breakfast and the portion was large. The people were super and our particular server was a sweetheart. Don't change!

I love diners. This one was just good. The bloody Mary needed booze in it, but the flavor and garnish was right on.. The eggs were perfection, Hash Browns good and crispy. The portions rather small for the price. Service was excellent. Menus were placed under the glass of the table which which is nice I didn't have to scan or download anything into my phone or handle menus handled by dozens of others. The little stores in the same hallway as the resteraunt are treasures!!!! There is a cassette tape and vinyl album store right next to the restaurant that I geeked out at for about an hour. Made amazing purchases. There is another store down the hall with odds and ends that is definitely worth visiting as well. These are all hidden little gems right downtown Louisville.

Bob's Diner is a quiet, comfortable restaurant. It is never busy, but it is always reasonably priced and tasty. I got the salmon salad and my family both got burgers. The salmon salad was beautifully presented and equally tasty. I have had quite a few salmon salads and I would go so far as to say this one is my favorite. My family also enjoyed their burgers.

Solid breakfast and service. It's not an exceptional, fancy experience, but a good place to get some decent food at a quick pace.

What a great place! I ordered the special (cheesy, bacon eggs and a bisquet with gravy). My eggs were phenominal; finished them and contemplated ordering more. The gravy and coffee weren't anything special, but the staff was energetic and upbeat. The diner is classic and I recomend checking it out. Good food and good atmosphere :)

Nice little hole in the wall diner in downtown Louisville. Has a cool little patio, and the service is always great. Huevos Rancheros was pretty good, and they were on point with refilling coffee. One drawback is that the bathroom is down the hall, but not that big of a deal. Great restaurant!
