Kfc

I recently paid a trip to this location (largely because I absolutely refuse to go to the KFC on Blankenbaker) to get dinner to take home. I know it's relatively new building, so I thought it'd be nice to see the inside. When I walked in I was the only customer in the building, so I was was able to place my order immediately. The young lady behind the counter helped me make a decision to take advantage of a current promotion and I paid for my food. For me it's fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, and cole slaw. Of the fast food chicken cole slaws out there, KFC gets my vote as the best. As far as the mashed potatoes and gravy, KFC loses that to Popeye's. The interior has a fresh, not-your-regular-KFC feel to it. It was warm and welcoming, yet didn't give up that "You're in a KFC" identity. While I was getting drinks I heard them call out my order. WOW. I didn't expect to get the food that fast! Then again, at KFC 100% of nothing is made to order. It's just assemble the food and box it. I was in the restaurant less than 10 minutes and then back out the door. The real challenge with this location is getting out the parking lot and making your way back home. When I got home everything was just as I ordered it and tasted great! Clean restaurant, fast service, great food!

The chicken sandwiches was good. The chicken bowl was great, and the mashed potatoes were spot on. But the one thing I looked forward to the most was completely raw. And that was the biscuits. I'm not mad i'm just disappointed. The biscuits were completely raw on the inside. One bite and it was a mouthful of dough.

Didn't get my drink I ordered. Normally I'd remind them, and get my drink. Communication was difficult to understand. I ordered a 3 piece dinner, I believe he told me all they only had were breast. Asked if I could be charged for the regular price. I prefer dark meat, chicken breast are usually very dry. I called the manager, Omar, he told me to return next day and we could work it out. He apologised for the lack of English speaking staff. I just thought he would welcome the feedback, and he was. I will come back. I've noticed quality has gotten worse, and I travel further hoping to again have a meal that I so much enjoyed growing up. I have not been a satisfied customer for years. Shame on you for ruining the quality of the chicken I used to enjoy so much. I hope you wake up and return to your original recipe. Otherwise, I believe your company will go under. Hopefully you will get better
