The Philly Station is located up stairs in the food court at Fourth Street Live. It is by no means the a fancy place to eat - obviously since it is in a food court. It is great to have a fast and affordable place to eat and still be downtown near the action. Good food without having to pay $20 for a sit down restaurant.
The menu is pretty strait forward, but exactly what you would expect. I wasn’t disappointed. Our group ordered a few Philly Cheesesteaks as well as wells as Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwiches. The food was all cooked right in front of you, and the French fries were dropped in fresh.
You can add one of two seasonings your fries, and you can add veggies and sauces to your sandwich of choice.
I must say though this is not a restaurant it is entertainment. Nick the chef has embraced the the downtown entertainment district and has a passion for what he does. He greeted us all, joked around, asked questions, and entertained us with his bold and outgoing personality. And he did it all with a line of 20+ people in line. He embraced the challenge and came through strong.
Overall you don’t go hear for the best food in town. You go for affordable, quick food downtown expecting to leave full and entertained.
WOW Nick was absolutely amazing hands down the best service I have ever received in a food court. This man greeted every customer with enthusiasm and was sincerely passionate about ensuring everyone was sastified with their meal! He was the cook and cashier extremely impressed I will definitely be back!
This place is amazing. The food is always fresh, made right in front of you. Their fries are reeeeally good. The price is reasonable. And best of all, Nick, the cook radiates with enthusiasm and genuine happiness. EVERY SINGLE DAY. This guy shifts my perspective on life every time I walk by there.
The Philly mushroom and Swiss was amazing, but the Chef, Nick, was the also one of the greatest men I've met in my life. He just seems so happy to be alive, and he gets along with everyone. I definitely give the recommendations!
Food is cooked fresh and tastes great. The guy that usually serves me is one the nicest, enthusiastic, and most accomodating guys ive ever had experience with at a restaurant. We came in 15 min before close and he still served us.
This place would be 3 stars without Nick, he’s a salesman of his trade and the mascot of the store. I always enjoy the food when he makes it. Fair priced and quick.
Nick is an eccelent host. The sandwich was great. He made it all in front of us and was very friendly.
