Jerry's Jboy Restaurant

My mom worked at a Jerry's in Henderson KY. She recently passed away and I went in to a place I had no idea still existed. Well it is about to close its doors for good next month. Try it before it is gone! Or better yet someone buy it and fix it up again! Food was amazing still after 40 years and service was too.

The waitress the seated us was very sweet. Very good hospitality in Jerry's restaurant. The food was pretty good I got some french toast and some grits. Michael had eggs sausage and some more stuff I don't know exactly what he had on his plate but it was pretty good looking. The only thing I didn't like was the hot tea it was old school in Lipton tea. They were playing old school music I loved it the eighties in the nineties. I also love all the beautiful pictures that had on the wall it was decorated so nice in there.

Generally go late at night one of the few places that have a dine in at late hours. Food is generally good and service is on par. Some nights you get staff that is above and beyond expectation other nights it's just good. Rarely have issues or complaints. Sweet tea is freshly brewed and not too sweet. Hot coco with home made whip cream is really good. Perfect balance between melting and lasting the entire drink while many others Redi whip deflate in a minute. Menu is for most part any time the all you can eat dishes are like 6-10pm? They have good fill ya up for cheap.

I've always loved this place but the last time we went the wait for the food took forever. They left my sisters burger sitting up there for about 10-15 minutes just waiting on the rest of the order to get done. Seems a little slow when the owner isn't there, which she wasn't that day. The food is awesome though.

It wasn't busy at all . Just me and my wife and another couple in another booth. The waitress was very friendly and and accommodating. The sun was blinding me making my eyes water and she closed them for me. I greatly appreciate that. The food didn't take long as it wasn't that busy anyway. The food was what we ordered and it cooked perfectly. Still thinking about it now.

I came through on my way to a job and was able to meet up with my sister and nephew. They wanted to go to Jerry's. I was surprised Jerry's was still around. They raved about the mushroom swiss plate. We all ordered it. They both also got the hot fudge cake. I had to have a to-go plate for my meal, it was so big. For me anyway. It was very good and the second day was no exception. 3 meals, 3 drinks and 2 desserts for under $40. Well worth it.
