The Diamond Station has regained its mojo and reclaimed its place as the Douglass Loop area's best place to beer and watch ball.
I've seen it go through several changes of hands, but this version is the best one yet.
If you were a fan of the original Dundee and have been at a loss since its downhill slide, Diamond Station may answer your prayer.
Well-proportioned items at every corner of the menu and, from a quick count, 74 different beers to choose from.
2022 UPDATE: Check out the photos of the bacon chicken tacos. When I asked the chef what his favorite item to make was, it was what he suggested. Spot-on, dude!
I have been in Diamond Station several times and always had a great time. Cort the bartender is great and Kyle the owner always makes you feel at home. They have an excellent beer selection and the food is top notch. They have a new cook, Anthony, who fits right in with the rest of the crew and he is awesome. He is putting his own spin on the food and has added loaded nachos to the menu and there the best i ever had.
That have a nice variety of food and what I got (egg rolls, burger) was fantastic. They have the NFL Sunday ticket, which is perfect, but due to it not being a large place, it can be challenging to see the game you want. Im sure they would be accommodating with the games though. Will definitely be back.
The burgers here are absolute fire. The pool table is great to play on. Bartender was attentive and quick with keeping up on drinks. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to chill listen to good music and watch TV while eating good food and drinking great drinks. Theres even a super Nintendo that you can game on. I suggest stopping in if you've never been.
Best little whole in the wall on Bardstown. Mellow atmosphere, great jukebox, always have the game I'm looking for on. NFL & MLB packages. Kitchen open late, great apps, fantastic wings, and really good burgers. Sneaky good craft beer & bourbon selection. 👍👍

Local bar with great beer selections and really good food. Recently they had Three Floyds Zombie Dust on tap which is a cult beer known across the country. Lots of TVs and a great place to watch a game. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant.
My husband and I went on a Saturday during the early afternoon. I ordered a burger and he had the Ham and Cheese. The food was DELICIOUS! My burger was juicy, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. It didn't take them a long time to bring our food to us and to top it off.......they have happy hour from opening until 7PM every day! Needless to say a great choice for bar food and a good drink. My only suggestion would be a wider range of food choices but it's a bar. So, drink up! We will be back!
Great place to play Golden Tee or pool. Good prices on craft beers, and their selection is great: about 6 or 7 drafts and a huge selection of bottles. Diamond Station also has a nice pub food menu. The burger is fantastic. Beer cheese is nice and spicy. Also, they have a TouchTunes jukebox, so you can download the app and play pretty much any song you've ever wanted to hear. Great location near the Douglass Loop on Bardstown Rd.
I have never felt such an urge to leave a review because I’m lazy, HOWEVER; let’s just start with the service, the bartender/server/angel sent from heaven, Court immediately makes you feel at home and will go above and beyond to make you a happy customer. The service here is incomparable.
Now let’s get to the food. Wings:10/10
Tater tots: OFF THE SCALE. I mean if you like tater tots in general you’re going to think you’ve died and been reincarnated, if you don’t like tater tots then you haven’t experienced a real TATER TOT until you’ve been here. All I’m saying is if you like good drinks, food, playing pool, and nice people, (I don’t know who doesn’t like these things??!?) then you need to get your butt on over here ASAP.
Sorry for the rant, if you’ve gotten this far just know these tater tots are close to my heart. Honestly wish there was more than 5 stars.
