Hibachi Sushi Buffet

We were most anxious to return to this recently reopened location, a favorite before the shutdowns. We were not disappointed. The buffet is back and better than ever with most of our previous favorites and a few new additions. There used to be a butter boiled shrimp that I liked. In its place is a large size of naked fried crispy shell type shrimp that is good, though my preference is to peel it anyway instead of eating the crispy shell as may be done. I would exercise caution in selecting such shellfish as oysters, mussels, and crab. As is the case with other such buffets, I find they are sometimes past their prime before they're cooked, and cooking doesn't fix that, though they're often presented anyway. My wife had to reject a couple of such items she had selected. None of this reduces my enthusiasm for the other items in the buffet. The standard Chinese entrees are all offered and are pretty good. Prices went up as is the case everywhere, I think it was $14.95 per person, but I took advantage of my great age, asked for and got the senior discount which was 10%, worth asking for. As final treats, there are several hand dipped ice creams and a cat-like robot that appears at your table to present you your check. The enthusiasm of the waiter and the owners is refreshing and I'm certain their success isassured. Update 4-16-22: We had a lovely family dinner in the back room with one long table. The robot was a hit with the kids.

We drive out of our way to go here. The buffet is well stocked, kept fresh and a great selection. They have a solid selection of sushi, their cook to order "Mongolian" area is decent. The servers are attentive and polite. We have tried more than a few buffets in and around Louisville and this restaurant sets the bar for all the others.

this is my first time eating here, and i live in the apartments right behind the restaurant. i did not expect it to be so nice! it is a very clean place with a gorgeous pond of fish & you can even feed them! they have both booths & tables. an amazing selection of sushi & other foods & deserts. the staff is friendly & the atmosphere is great. you will not be disappointed if you decide to have your next meal here.
