I absolutely LOVE this place! Food is always on point and the price is amazing for the portions you get. I make it a point to come here at least 1 a month if not more. It's one of my favorite sushi joints. I highly recommend coming and checking this spot out. It's a smaller space but don't let that stop you.
As far as locals go. DO NOT EAT AT SAKE BLUE. Come here instead. Never a wait and the food is considerably less expensive. The food is just as good and the atmosphere is much more relaxed. I love this place.
It's been a while since food made me stop and savor the moment, the sushi here is phenomenal. If you want a quiet place to dine and enjoy your company with someone this is the place.
Kevin is the best Sushi Chef in Kentucky. Vegan Roll.
The food is great at reasonable prices. I recommend any of the sushi rolls and my favorite dish is the habachi noodles. Just pick your meat of choice. You can't go wrong. And don't forget the yum yum sauce. So good. The servers are nice and overall the service is pretty good. I definitely would recommend it if you're in the area. Oh and the beer specials are great too.
We were originally going to Sake Blue. But the wait was over an hour. So we looked up sushi places and found this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's my new favorite!! The food was AMAZING and didn't leave me feeling bloated and awful like I usually do after I eat across the street! The sushi was amazing and so well priced.
I do have to say the service wasn't great. Which seems to be what a lot of other reviews say as well. The waitress didn't come back after she took our orders. They really need to work on that. But the food was good
It was fantastic! Server was very attentive and never let our glasses get empty. Food was excellent and perfectly cooked. Sushi was freshly made and delicious! Great cooked sushi options for pregnant women as well! Myself and my husband will definitely be back!
The food was amazing. By far mu favorite sushi restaurant in Louisville.
I love this place. The sushi is good for the price and they even offer hibachi if you are in the mood. It's pretty small inside, so it may not be the best for large group at the regular tables. However, they should be able to accommodate a larger group around the hibachi grill. The have a nice verity of options on the menu from ramen to sake.
I love that each roll had a picture. That helps a ton. Also, you can see the hibachi from basically any seat which is cool. I had the lunch combo D and it was perfect. The crunch munch, Fire Cracker and Hungry roll. There was a bit more spice in the rolls than most places with a similar roll, and the Hungry was a bit thicker/crunchier than most places. That's about preference so wanted to mention. They are sized well, not too large, and they were not dry like some places. For the price, I was really impressed! Fairly small place that could get real busy, so call ahead if you have a large party.
