Akiko's

I visited Akikos’s karaoke bar last Friday with a few of my friends, and we had a great time, the drinks were very good, and the price was excellent. The place was jam packed, they had a lot of very talented singers there, and they sang like a pro. I sang one song after waiting for over an hour, but while I waited for the song, I got to dance the whole time till my turn to sing. I normally go there on weeknights and I always have so much fun there, and I can sing many songs without much of a wait, but even some weeknights can get very busy, the weekend has always been very crowded, it was my only third time visiting on a weekend, which is why I prefer to go there on weeknights, since I like to sing a lots of songs and it's less crowded than compared to the weekends. I read many people complaining for too long of a wait, and being unable to sing, but I can see why? The DJ only can play 12 songs in an hour, but at Akiko's they can have over a hundred people requesting to sing. I've been to many other karaoke places, and there are many places that you can sing without much of a wait, but those places don't have as many people, and are kinda boring to sing at when you are the only one singing, or with only a few people in the audience to show off your talent. You can sing more at Akiko's if you come earlier, like when the doors are open at 9pm, but after 11pm, they start to get packed very quickly especially on weekends, but the weeknights are much less crowded, and you can sing with much less wait time. Overall Akiko’s is very fun and has an excellent vibe, so everyone can enjoy the night out. I can't wait for my next visit. If you are looking for karaoke or just want to have a fun time, then Akiko's is the right place to go.

Nice little bar with a good selection of songs. Very friendly staff that participated in karaoke along with the guests. We had a great time!
