Yay, they finally replaced the felt on their pool table! Nice laid back spot to grab some drinks. Unless you come on Friday or Saturday night, then it's a party. Take your pick.

We love Gerstles. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is great & really friendly. They're on top of things. I'm a huge Vikings fan, and this is our Louisville gathering spot on Sundays.

Grilled chicken sandwich. Very good sandwich with tomato, lettuce, red onions, pickles, bacon. Fries were my side item. Service could have been a bit better but overall no complaints.

I had not visited this place in nearly 20 years. My girlfriend's daughter was celebrating a 21st birthday and I went with them. Definitely has changed! They had a live band early on and transitioned to a DJ later. The place was easily 90% people in their 20s, which is definitely different from the last time I was there LOL. As the night wore on, the place became VERY crowded so if you are into something more laid back, this may not be for you. Especially weekends.
The service was pretty good considering how busy they were, drinks were on point and prices cheap. The only real negative was the door guy being super aggressive about IDs, wanding and making everyone empty their pockets as if it was 2001 again. It was a bit of a buzz kill honestly.
Don't know when I'll return, but now I know where everyone who used to come to the Highlands is going!

Staff makes this place. Good beer prices and quick service. I felt I paid a fair price and can’t come up with any complaints. Solid 4. This is a Louisville institution you can’t give it a bad review.

What an awesome place this is. I love the atmosphere with all the different rooms and the pool tables and the people they have Manning the doors are incredibly wonderful. The servers are awesome. The music was right on. Would definitely come back

We've been coming to Gerstles here and there for a few years. They have the Vikings games on always and it's a great time. If it is game day, get there early and be patient with service!

Other than the bathrooms needing deep cleaning. Had a great time on a date with my girl. Mostly twenty something crowd. Great playlist from the cover band. Everyone was having a blast. Bartenders were doing their best to keep up. Definitely earned their money.
