Debated back and forth whether to try this place as the wife and I wanted a nice date night. Well I can say we definitely made a good decision. Great location to people watch in the Nulu area if you sit outside. You have to order food at the bar but they bring it to you. We started with the guacamole, which was fresh and the chips had a nice little spice to them. We tried the steak, chicken, fish, and shrimp takas. They were all great....and spicy...definitely recommend that you like spicy food if you going to try them. I enjoyed all four of them but the chicken and shrimp were a bit spicy for my wife. She has a "regular" margarita and I had a beer....or 3. This is a cool spot in Nulu and would definitely recommend stopping in to check it out.
This is my place. Best food, Great Music/ DJs: they even have a live piano man free-styling over beats on Saturday nights. The atmosphere is also perfect. Galaxie even shows planet earth on the tvs & play edm music as well! Def my favorite hangout place in all of Louisville!!!!! The owners/manager of this establishment sure do know what they are doing, always coming out with fresh ideas too! Highly Recommend!
Galaxie has been transformed into a winter wonderland with Miracle on market. It was an excellent experience. This is an offshoot from galaxie that only pops up in the holidays. It is a very festive bar experience. There’s a lot of Christmas decorations, there’s cozy little nooks with fireplaces and Christmas trees where you can sit and enjoy your drink or watch a Christmas movie. The holiday cocktails are very inspired and so far very tasty. I had the Christmas cricket and my friend had the mulled wine which was a hot drink. They were very well done. This is overall a great and festive experience and it’s definitely becoming a Holiday tradition.
Galaxie is one of my favorite bars in town! You've got to try the margaritas, salads, tacos, and vader fries! The bartenders are always great fun!
Sometimes it's a bit crowded, but still a must-try Nulu staple!

This is my go to Nulu spot, and one of my favorites in Louisville altogether. The service is always way quicker than everything else around the Nulu area. I love the bartenders, they’re always sweet. And the margaritas are GREAT — just the right kind of strong.
I like the uniqueness of these tacos. And I’ve never tried one here that I didn’t like.
Bartender was so helpful and nice! Our drinks were tasty. This place serves food so be prepared to smell said food when you go into the bar for a night cap. Fun hang out location on the patio. I will say this is a place with a younger crowd. Think college and early 20s with fun music and a club upstairs.
We ordered the loaded Philly cheese fries and the chipotle chicken tacos and it was honestly some of the best food we’ve tried. Everything was fresh, delicious, and came out to us in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES. The staff was also spectacular. The ambiance and music are also very nice pluses. Highly recommend.
Great service, amazing atmosphere, excellent food. A must try if visiting Louisville. If the rest of our trip sucks, it will have been worth it because we came to Galaxie. Agave old fashioned is innovative and a beverage perfection. Best chips I've ever had for the nachos.

When walking by, it wouldn't have been my first choice, but I am glad that I stopped in. The Mexican flair menu items caught my attention, and the service didn't disappoint. If spicy food with a little heat is your thing, you have to try Galaxie. Not your typical Mexican cuisine.

Was looking for something to eat in the area wait to try this place it was really good two Taco combo with chips and salsa for $14 was amazing and really fulfilling for a light lunch not too heavy where you can still walk around nulu area rosemary lemonade was delish
Fun place for drinks. We had the Street Fighter cocktail and it was delicious! The atmosphere is fun and trendy. The colors and themes are hype. Make sure to go in the bathroom too, it's interesting. Haven't tried the food but the menu looks good. Great night life and would recommend.
