Excellent fish sandwich. Do not be deterred by the curb appeal. Staff and patrons are very nice and welcoming. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious.

Some of the best fish in the city. Flaky, crispy batter, so good! Fries aren't bad either. Highly recommended! Get the cole slaw too.

Best Fish in Town!!. They have the best fish sandwiches and dinners in town barring none. Neighborhood atmosphere, pleasant help, cold beer and lots of Fish, what else does anyone need...lol Largest servings of fish in town for the money!

Heaven Sent Tattoos 4100 Flintlock. We're right across the street from O'Brians and we have to eat there at least twice a week! Thier fish is the best I've ever had, fresh meaty big filets and the "fish for 1" can easily feed 2 ppl! The ladies working the bar always have a smile and are on it! They totally earn evey tip they get! O'Brian's gets two thumbs up from Heaven Sent Tattoos!

Great Fried Fish!. Bar none, this is the best fried fish in Louisville; and large portions. The place itself has no atmosphere and out-of-towners might think twice before walking into the joint, but they are friendly and know how to serve hot delicious fish, and ice cold beer.

Loved the tradition fish sandwich. Its certainly a "hole in the wall" but the service was good and they serve a top-notch fish sandwich. Add a nice rolled oyster and three dinning for less than $30 (INCLUDING TIP) and you have a great experiance!

This is a hidden gem if you are looking for a neighborhood bar with a great atmosphere, friendly service, and just a down to earth place to go.
It's cash only, the beer is cold and they have fish to die for. Hearty helpings and very reasonable prices.

Bright little bar the food is fabulous. They are a cash business so please bring cash. The fish is super. They have great specials on hamburgers as well. And the bartender/server is amazing.

I Like going to Mary & John O'Bryan's for lunch and a couple of cold beers. They are one of the best little unknown fish joints in the city. Their fish sandwiches are cooked piping hot along with their fries and cold slaw. I have friends waiting in line to be taken to Mary and John's because they have heard from others who have been there.
For all those who are following me on this site might think that I am a rather big person because I'm always mentioning food joints. Well, you are wrong I work out 45 minutes everyday. Have a blessed day!
