Couvillion - Louisville - Photo album

This was our first visit to Couvillion after it made our list, having seen it in Louisville mag's restaurant issue. We were blown away by the smoked cornbread, which had an amazing crunch on the outside, and the butter was of course delicious. I got the duck confit with ricotta dumplings, amazing -
Nice place to enjoy some traditional creole food. The duck creole was good and very rich, the pork rinds and cornbread were delicious, and the shrimp and grits were spot on. The staff was friendly and helpful when giving recommendations. The service was fast too. Check this place out if you’re in th
What a gem nestled in Schnitzelburg! Great New Orleans cuisine. Had the Roasted Cauliflower appetizer. It was the only mildly disappointing thing of the night. Very, very vinegary! 😳 My wife had the onion burger (sans the bun). Loved it. She also had the brussel sprouts for a side. Spicy, tasty! She
If you are looking for good new orleans style food this is the place. Had crawfish ettoufee and it was served with catfish fillets on top. Everyone in my family loved their dish.

Southern style cajun. Every dish we had was delicious. Must haves... Cornbread, Fried Pork Rinds, Shrimp and Grits, collard greens.
Some of the best and most inventive Cajun inspired dishes north of Louisiana. Bring a friend or two because the portions are big, big, big! Fast and friendly wait staff and casual atmosphere.
They take reservations! Beautiful ambiance, excellent service, good prices, shareable portions, extensive alcohol list that includes several NON-ALCOHOLIC options (this excites me because I'm sober). I went with my family. We all got something different and shared. Everything was hot, fresh and deli
