Old Louisville Tavern - Louisville - Photo album

Loved this place. Food is great and fresh. Workers were exceptional. Beer is cold. Great overal experience. Will be back
Food was great for bar food standards.Service was slower than we would like and the waitress forgot to refill our water and did not check on us regularly. Outside seating was nice but they do not allow you to rearrange tables and we had a large party so had to wait for a table to open up. Definitely
Always great. Casual indoor and outdoor seating, nice draft beer list, and the food never disappoints. Get the portobello fries, you're welcome.
This place really surprised me as it doesn’t look like much from the outside. The food was outstanding as was the service. The pretzel sticks and French dip were both amazing. There were also no shortage of people in there on a Sunday night which is always a good sign in my opinion. It’s definit
The best food we had all weekend. Wings and fries were really good. Awesome 90 music. Good drink selection. Good service.
After driving by the Old Louisville Tavern many times, I finally decided to give them a try and I was pleasantly surprised: they offered a tasty and generous portion of beer battered and fried cod. It was served with lots of hot, fresh cut fries and a serving of coleslaw which was in a tiny condimen
Came here on a fall Friday afternoon. Great atmosphere, nice small pub with very friendly wait staff and bartenders. We will definitely come back. It is located in Old Louisville and you can tell several of the patrons live in the nearby area and these people come here frequently. Food came out hot
Atmosphere and food are really good! We’ve been here a couple times with friends and it’s always been a great experience. Would highly recommend the steak frites (that’s my favorite dish thus far). The mimosa I ordered last time was also really good! They weren’t too busy during the Sunday lunch ho
Fantastic experience at Old Louisville Tavern! My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way home to Kansas City (long drive!). The service was nice, the atmosphere was just right and the food was delicious! I ordered the Ville’y Cheesesteak which is pictured. Tender steak with peppers, onions
This place was excellent! My wife and I found this place in an ad while searching for something when coming through Louisville from Campbellsville for some appointments and we are tired of the same old chain foods and are trying all the local offerings and this will definitely be a place we come bac
This isn’t just neighborhood staple… it’s damn near iconic. The menu selection is nice but the taste is AH MAZING! I’ll be enjoying The Tavern salad (with an out of this world vinaigrette) and the Double Stacked Grilled Cheese Sandwich (with four cheese and cartelized onions) with fries! Please don’
We had a really nice meal that was prepared very well. The staff was nice. My Old Fashion was just okay, not up to the high standards of Louisville. The atmosphere was comfortable but nothing special.
Good food and good vibes. The staff were friendly and checked on took orders quickly. The burger tasted delicious and was ready in a reasonable time. The tavern was clean and had a great atmosphere. Price was extremely reasonable.
Tried the steak frites and it was simply delicious 😋 served with fries and cold beer. Our hostess was also very kind with top notch service.
I love , love, LOVED this place. By and large it was the best meal we had in our 5 days in Louisville. Great bourbon selection, friendly and helpful staff (our bartender was the best part of the trip), and the food was out rationally good! We loved it so much we went back the next night for a 2nd he
Solid food and pretty good prices for what you get. I had the Scotty Stack burger (no bun to keep it low carb) and the tavern salad. The burger was solid but that salad was even better.
