We just went for the 1st time. It was excellent. From the time we got there to the time we left, service was impeccable. Our steaks were perfect. We choose 3 different sides between the 2 of us. The fingerling potatoes and corn were great but if I go back I won't order the Brussel Sprouts. I wanted to try them . I didn't like them but I don't like mine crunchy. They had a good flavor. I knew ahead of time the bill wasn't going to be cheap but for the service and the food it was worth it. We even got a complimentary desert for our anniversary!
We try to go to one every state we travel to, our waiter was on the top of his craft and made our first anniversary the best it could be that night!

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse Louisville is an upscale steakhouse chain located in the top floor of the Wright Tower, which provides neat views. We found our experience to be pretty good overall. The 11oz filet was cooked PERFECTLY; the most accurate mid-rare plus I’ve ever seen. The steak’s flavor was excellent. The sweet potato casserole was outstanding, as were the Caesar salads (crisp and refreshing). We did find the garlic mash “pretty good” (not any noticeable garlic) as well as the lobster Mac runny and marginal for the price. My girlfriend LOVED the comforting whipped butter for the bread. The cheesecake was definitely passable: odd execution resulting in more crust than cake, and even the cheesecake part was forgettable. Our “Spicy Shrimp” appetizer was excellent (just Bang Bang shrimp by another name) and the marinated vegetable garnish was a tasty plate pairing. Service was good although more of the work was done by the other employees.
Music was too low resulting in hearing most all conversations, which thankfully was redeemed through sparking a relationship with our anniversary-celebrating tablemates next to us. The carpeted dining room was cozy as were the chairs.
All in all, it was a pretty good experience, and we would go back, but I would suggest choosing Jeff Ruby’s in Louisville for a far superior dining experience, both in food and service as they both have very similar price points. Ruth’s Chris definitely caters to a more casual upscale experience while Jeff Ruby’s truly wows you. I will say to Ruth’s Chris’ credit that they are better than Stoney River, IMO, both in service and food quality.

For our 8th wedding anniversary, we decided to go to Ruth's Chris steak house. It did not disappoint, we booked for the reservation online. The service was excellent, it's a very popular restaurant, it took a while for us to get the food but it's understandable. The portions were huge, we shared everything from starters to desserts. Everything tasted amazing, the calamari was so tender. They served our Cowboy ribeye steak on a sizzling 500-degrees plates, we ordered medium and it came at exact medium temp. The lobster mac and cheese was amazingly good. I could never eat too much at a restaurant so I'm the kinda person who always ask for a to-go box. I kept the leftover steak in the fridge for 2 days and heated it on the stove, and it was still amazingly tender, which was quite shocking, I was very impressed!!! The only small disappointment was the crème brûlée, it was not as I expected but I am still giving this place a 5-star because this is a steak restaurant so I'm not gonna judge for the dessert. And they also took our picture and gave us the printed picture as a gift, I thought that was very thoughtful of them. Recommended for a any occasion or if you could afford a great steak at this price regularly.
Overall, the food was good, just not amazing. I would definitely go back again, but if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I want something I can't get at every steakhouse. And honestly, the steak was just ok. Their wine selection was just ok, so we went with the basics of Caymus and Silver Oak. Always good choices, but not over the top like we were looking for at this business dinner. The bread pudding was good but a little overcooked in certain bites.
Had our holiday luncheon today at Ruth Chris- what an amazing experience from the ambiance, impeccable service(Beverley & Rebecca. What an amazing job Executive Chef Chris did preparing our food and was great talking to my team. Highly recommend doing a private luncheon at Ruth Chris! We’ll be back next year. What an amazing job Beverly and Rebecca did serving over 35 people! Thanks again!
Service was impeccable! Our server, Chelsea, was very attentive and nice. It was our 19th wedding anniversary and they had heart confetti on our table, which was a very nice touch. The bone-in NY strip was cooked to perfection and the osso buco ravioli and crème brûlée were just as amazing. They even wrote happy 19th anniversary on our plate, took a photo and put it in a card for us. We expected the food to be top notch, but it was the service and extra touches that really did it for us. Thank you for a memorable meal and making our anniversary that much better!
To ensure the best service, I highly reccomend reserving a table ahead of time on the open table app. I was able to let the restaurant know we were celebrating my husbands birthday, and dietary restrictions prior to arrival. He was not expecting the host staff, servers, and management to wish him bappy birthday.
There were many celebrating birthday's and anniversaries, but we did not feel neglected. I've been to a few steakhouses around town, but this one had the best atmosphere and most attentive staff.
The food was very good, and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the blackberry cocktail and the crab stuffed mushrooms. Our steaks were seasoned and seared to perfection.
The food and service by Bronwyn were both incredible! The crab cakes weren’t an option to choose from for recommended dishes but they were out of this world! Thank you!
Fantastic service, friendly and professional environment, and a very tasty menu! I still feel it's a bit overpriced but overall experience and the quality of the food is without a doubt on point! I much appreciate our server and the manager on duty! Definitely made the event I was there for worthwhile and went above and beyond!
We had a server named Brandi. Brandi, did an amazing job and she was working by herself when it was extremely busy! She didn't let that bother her as she continued to push through with amazing service. The food that I got was garlic crusted sea bass with a side of Brussels Sprouse and calamari for an appetizer. Sea bass was something I feel I could have made at home along with the Brussel sprouts but the calamari was good. Beautiful place overall! Give Brandi a raise for how hard she worked yesterday BTW!

If I could add more stars I would!!! Our server Rebecca was amazing. Very informative about the menu. The view was excellent and my husband and I enjoyed being with each other in the moment.
The food was delicious with every bite. They heat the plates to 500 degrees to keep it hot through the whole meal. I felt like a Queen and I appreciated my King spoiling me with whatever I wanted. The menu had excellent selections. I could go on and on… BRAVO!!!!
