Wagner's Pharmacy - Louisville - Photo album

Simple but really good diner right across from Churchill Downs with a Derby/Horse Racing theme. The strawberry pancakes were maybe the very best we have EVER had. The Hangover breakfast plate was delicious. Lots of really cool Derby and Churchill Downs memorabilia. Nice gift shop with a lot of items
Good resteraunt. Food was good and filling. I am not from the area but I think I got a good taste of southern breakfast. Pricing wasn't to bad. The coolest thing about the resteraunt was the atmosphere though.
Good food, good Service. I had the club and chips and friends had a Burger and fries. Small mix up in the order but got addressed fairly quickly. Nice little gift shop part of the restaurant. I would certainly go back here and try some other items.
Great food and friendly atmosphere. Nostalgic for sure
Open faced R Beef was cool, peas contained ONIONS! Four people at the table, portions were not equalized. Two people shared one platter; they both individually had more R Beef than I had. We were charged for a drink we did not receive. First time visit, most likely will be my last. While an iconic e
Talk about history. This place celebrated 100 years this year. Eat breakfast where the Jockeys for the Kentucky Derby eat. Feel the history and atmosphere of horse racing while eating lunch or breakfast. There is a small gift shop and also a vet pharmacy gears toward horses. Food was good and r
Just wow !! A little shotgun restaurant/store with hometown vibes. Everyone is so sweet.. got togo and not only was it cheap but it was DELICIOUS!!!! I got the French toast and was not disappointed!! I'd give this place 10 stars if I could!!
Food was good. I came for breakfast. I was there 8 minutes before their cutoff for breakfast but they informed me the cooks had already switched over the heat for the grill and they couldn't accommodate eggs. I was very disappointed with this. The chicken salad I had was good and the service was att
Were told at the Museum that this was the place for lunch when visiting Churchill so, we did. It's more about the setting than the food but, we had a good experience! Lunch was good, husband and I shared a sandwich, service was acceptable. We did hear another table complain about others around gett
Right by Churchill Downs. Lots of workers from the track come here to eat. Lots of locals too. Blue collar place that is comfortable for all folks. Good food and service. Reasonable prices. Ate there twice in three days while in the area. Souvenirs available if you need them. Check out there daily
This is not the place you want to go to for food. However, it is filled with nostalgia from the early days of Churchill Downs. The photos showing the early days are great to see. Apparently this where the jockeys and reporters use to hang out. There is a gift shop attached with fun souvenirs, so
My husband and I saw Warner’s Pharmacy at Diner, dives, and drive ins and we just had to try since we live in Louisville. We both ordered the Kentucky Hotbrown and we both agree it was amazing, very tasty the sauce was amazing perfection. Good friendly service, definitely a must visit again.
Great little breakfast place. You may have to get up and tell your own coffee but it's a good time.
Great home cooked breakfast 😋 super cool view of Churchill Downs. Highly recommended if you want a mom and pop cafe experience.
Cool local diner inside that has been around a while. Had a hot brown, derby sandwich, and derby pie. Everything tasted great. Service was a bit too relaxed for my expectations, but I realize some of the people in there are regulars and keep chatting with the servers to the detriment of the other cu
A great place for comfort food! BEST biscuits I ever ate! Home cooking, great service, lots of local history, what's not to like?
Iconic place with simple food. This is an old timey diner for the older crowd. It is right across from Churchill Downs, where the Kentucky Derby is held. The diner has a Derby theme to it with all the photos of horses and race memorabilia on the wall. There is a good amount of seating and the waitre
A must see stop in Louisville. 100 years young and an amazing opportunity to breathe in decades of history. Great food, hospitality and family owners.
