The food is AMAZING!!!!! BEST Drinks. Mind u I ate off the chicken and waffles for 2 days and realized I forgot to take a picture. In fact they are so good I went back for more drinks the next day and tried the cod. I'm mad that I forgot to take pictures...it is HUGE. You get a couple of pieces. The service is outstanding!!! The people are friendly and genuine. What I really liked was the supervisor came to talk to our table and he shared that the people they have hired are a diverse group of people that come in different ages and ethnicities. The facility is beautiful and it is Derby ready so anyone who tell anyone who is wanting to come to Louisville for Derby it's all set.
Very good food and large portion sizes. The waiter wasn’t attentive and would be missing for a while. The service was very slow! Otherwise the food and ambiance were lovely.
Great food, loved the atmosphere and the staff was very attentive. The wait time did go up significantly as the amount of dining guests went up but even then the staff did a great job making sure their guests had what they needed as quickly as they could. It was refreshing to dine in while staying there, I rarely eat in at hotel restaurants as most times I don't have even a 3 or 4 star review to give.
I had the smoked wings, mussels, and yard bird sandwich. I would definitely recommend the wings and yard bird sandwich.
Super cool bar. I was at an event at the convention center next door and stopped in for a drink after. Great atmosphere and a bit of a hidden treasure. The bartender, I think her name is Lindsey, was super fun and helpful along with the rest of her coworkers. Surprisingly positive experience. I'll be back.
The smoked pork chop was as good as it gets! It paired extremely well with the braised kale and caramelized root vegetables, and of course you have to do the Ole Fashioned.
I am visiting from Fort Lauderdale Florida and stopped in. I had the mac and cheese with pulled pork and the ribs and they were delicious! Great place to watch the basketball game too! Shelby was our bartender and she was great! Highly recommend will be back.
I did a take out order for a pulled pork sandwich & it was divine! The bbq sauce was a perfect meld of a touch of spice and sweet. The side of Texas fries was hot & crispy with a nice seasoning. They also included a deep fried pickle (which was consumed first)!
Service at the bar was spot-on; very friendly and attentive.
The yard bird sandwich was huge and delicious, fries exceptional. Old fashions are spot on. All that and above board service makes this place a winner.
Charr’d Bourbon Kitchen at the Marriott is worth remembering especially for brunch when every other restaurant in Louisville has a 1 - 1 1/2 hour wait.
They also serve lunch and are associated with a small bourbon bar right off the lobby of the hotel.
They take large groups or eat alone.
Pulled Pork tots are great. The service was excellent. They have their own Maker's Private Selection.
Do not pass on this restaurant, it's great.
